Hi hivers! It's me Gelaii, did you miss me? Of course not because no one misses me, charr. For today blog I will share what did I do to my hometown, which is in Linaon, Cauayan.
To the information of everyone my parents live and meet at Cauayan Province, some of my siblings been born there. Last last year, February 26,2022 my Aunt died due to some veins in her head that explode that cause her to comatose and later on died.
As a Roman Catholic Religion we have this beliefs that we should pray for exactly 9days straight and the last prayer would be in her coffin where she buried, that's why we need to go to Cauayan to do that thing.
When the 9th day come, the plan was to wake up early, because Bacolod to Cauayan is a 3-4 hours travel. We decided to wake up 3:30 in the morning so we can go at exactly 4 am, but because where Filipino of course some of them are late.
Some trivia I'm the one who lead the prayer (Shocks right? I know a lot of people don't believe that I'm a religious person base on my appearance). Back to the topic we leave the house at exactly 4:30 am, while on the road we decided to stop over in villadolid to have some coffee and also to put something in our stomach. After that we continue our travel and we arrived at Cauayan at 8 am something.
The first thing we did is to eat because we're all hungry and after that, rest for a while and we went to cemetery to do our thing. For almost a year I did saw may aunt again, yes there's still pain in my chest because I can't believe that my aunt is no longer in this world but I'm happy also because she is no longer suffering from pain. And I know when the time flies I can accept the fact that my aunt is no longer here, and I will surely heal day by day.
The cemetery are located at the downhill of the mountain and beside with the blue sea of cauayan. After we finish praying we decided to go to Sualig Beach because it was near where the cemetery located.
We decided to sang in the karaoke to past the time and also my aunt won't be happy if we kept on mourning for her lost, she's the type of person that wants to see her family happy. We take pictures all over the place and enjoy the moment that we have in there. While enjoying some of my family buy some alcoholic drinks just to ease the burden that they felt and to forget the pain that we all felt. But of course I don't want to recommend drinking alcoholic drinks because it's not good to our heart, but we can drink responsibly and moderately.
Anyways stay tune as I release the part 2 of this blog where we decided to swim and enjoy the sceneries all over the places.
