A mother is a person in this world that will do everything for her family and her children. She is the first love of every man around the world and a person that will never forget to feel in every member of the family that they are loved and cared for. Because a mother's love is pure and genuine.
Hello Hivers all over the world, How are you? hoping you had a great day today. In this blog let me introduce to you a special girl in my Life, " MY MOTHER ". It is not mothers day today but allow me to flex an unforgettable moment with my mother.
Short Biography
My mother's name is Anita A. Sadullo, 55 years young, and already widowed but a strong and independent woman. It's been eight years now since her special man left her with these troublesome kiddos,(kidding, we are a good child somehow 😅). We are four children in the family, the other two siblings have already their own families and live separately with my Mother. I have one sister who lives with her but only once a week she is in our house due to work reasons. And I am on another Island in the Philippines working and visiting her three to four times a year only. So, most of the time she is alone in our Old House and busying herself attending her tiny Store.
It's sad to leave her, but we all do this with my siblings to give her a better life than she didn't yet experience before. When I visited her, I make sure that she is always happy and never feel that she is not alone this time. I bring her sometime in the city to pamper herself and spoil her for whatever she wants. (We live in a rural area, and visiting a City is a kind of pleasure to us)
Tacloban City is the nearest urban area to our place and one day on my visit last November 2022 in my hometown, I bring her to the City. We visited a Mall, buy some stuff she needs, and roam around to see with her the difference between an Urban area with our place.
Lunch Time
After roaming around we decided to take our lunch at Choobi-Choobi Restaurant inside the mall, The place is nice to take for our lunch, and it's not crowded. Besides to tell you we never afford before to eat at a restaurant like this, so I let her experience this restaurant and its cuisine. The place is a little cozy, the restaurant is also ready for the Christmas season coming that year.
I order Baked Butter Garlic Scallops, Lechon Pork Kawali, and a Pinakbet for the vegetable. Then for the Drinks, we have Lemon Iced tea. The foods are great so far, we both love the scallops, it is tender and the taste of their meat is so delightful. Glad that my mother also liked the food and the place. While eating, we had some catching up happening in our lives for the past months, I also ask about her health condition, and if their something bad she feels in her body. Glad she's physically Healthy.
It was our first mother-and-son moment when I started working after college, though it takes a little time for me to make this happen, still, I'm genuinely happy at this time and looking for more moments with her like this. After eating, she suddenly talked about my late old man, "what if he is here, what if he is with us today, for sure he is happy" She missed my father all of the sudden and I start getting emotional that time but I hold it back and change the topic. (But deep inside Im also missed him so much)
Even though Im busy building up my future far away from her, I make sure that Im still updated on what happens in her life, especially in terms of her health. Her condition is my priority for this time and paying back their sacrifices with us when we are a child. Hoping I can give back more soon, cause her age is continuously ticking.
As I said, a Mother is the first love of every man in the world, a precious woman in every man's heart, and making them happy is great happiness for every man.
