With all that has been generated from the economic crisis in Venezuela, Laura lived very difficult times and so did I, so our meetings became less frequent. At present I live in a rural area more than an hour away from the city and she lives in the same place as always, but now she is in charge of her two grandchildren, since due to the generalized precariousness her son and daughter-in-law had to move to Chile. This has made it very difficult for us to meet as often as we would like, but in our hearts we have always been united.
Laura is one of the most intelligent and strongest women I know, she has not had an easy life but that has not prevented her from developing intellectually and her quality as a person. On Monday I was in the city and as every time I can go I let her know so we could meet, she told me that I was welcome in her house and we agreed that I would stay with my partner, that in all these years I have also made a beautiful friendship with Laura.
We arrived at four in the afternoon at her house and she was already waiting for us, we went to pick up her two grandchildren where they receive classes and pedagogical support, and the games and stories began, on the one hand the children played non-stop and wanted to monopolize all our attention, on the other hand Laurita told us all the stories of her family and common acquaintances to catch us up after so long.
We had an incredible night and I was happy to see my friend laugh and enjoy, especially because Laura's mom died a couple of months ago and although she is not good at expressing her feelings I know it hurt her a lot, so being able to accompany her for at least a few hours and share and see her laugh again is something very gratifying. The next day, although we tried to get up early, sleep overcame us, as we had been tired for days.So we got up at 10 and Laura already had breakfast ready for us, we ate very well and got ready to go to the nearest park with the kids.
Although the park is not very beautiful, it was what we could visit with the little time we had.It is a string of courts and games along a highway, the kids had the time of their lives, running with Aly by the hand as if she were a parrot while Laurita and I walked behind without stopping to talk. In one of the fields we played a little soccer and jumped rope, although not much, because the kids are very small and they don't do it very well.
After about two hours we returned home, but before we ate some snacks, it was a great day for them and for us, we said goodbye and although the children asked us to stay one more night we explained that it was not possible, but like them we wanted to share a little more.
Being able to meet Laurita again after such a long time gave me a lot of joy, I know I won't be able to see her soon but we still keep each other company in the distance, because good friendships are sustained over time even when we are far away. Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, es un placer para mí estar en esta hermosa comunidad, compartiendo otro de mis momentos especiales rodeada de la gente que amo. Esta vez les quiero compartir las fotos la narración de un gran día que pase junto a mi compañera
Con todo lo que se ha generado a partir de la crisis económica en Venezuela, Laura vivió momentos muy difíciles y yo también, así que nuestros encuentros se hicieron menos frecuentes. En la actualidad yo vivo en una zona rural a más de una hora de la ciudad y ella vive en el mismo lugar de siempre, pero ahora está a cargo de sus dos nietos, ya que por la precarización generalizada su hijo y yerna tuvieron que macharse a Chile. Eso ha dificultado mucho que nos podamos reunir con la frecuencia que deseamos, sin embargo de corazón siempre hemos estado unidas.
Laura es una de las mujeres más inteligentes y fuertes que conozco, no ha tenido una vida fácil pero eso no le ha impedido desarrollarse intelectualmente y su calidad como persona. El día lunes estuve en la ciudad y como cada vez que puedo ir le avise para poder vernos, ella me dijo que era bienvenida en su casa y acordamos que me quedara junto a mi compañera, que en todos estos años también he hecho una hermosa amistad con Laura.
Llegamos a las cuatro de la tarde a su casa y ya nos estaba esperando, fuimos a buscar a sus dos nietos donde reciben clases y apoyo pedagógico, y comenzaron los juegos y las historias, por una lado los niños jugaban sin parar y querían acaparar toda nuestra atención, por otro lado Laurita nos contaba todas las historias de su familia y conocidos en común para ponernos al día después de tanto tiempo.
Pasamos una noche increíble y me dio gusto ver reír y disfrutar a mi amiga, sobre todo porque la mamá de Laura murió hace un par de meses y aunque ella no es buena expresando sus sentimientos sé que le ha dolido mucho, así que poderla acompañar por lo menos un unas horas y volver a compartir y verla reír es algo muy gratificante. Al otro día, aunque tratamos de madrugar el sueño nos venció, pues veníamos de días cansados. Así que nos levantamos a las 10 y Laura ya nos tenía el desayuno listo, comimos muy rico y nos preparamos para ir al parque más cercano con los niños.
A pesar del que el parque no es muy bonito, fue lo que pudimos visitar con el poco tiempo que teníamos. Es una retahíla de canchas y juegos a los largo de una autopista, los niños se divirtieron como nunca, corrían con Aly de la mano como si fuera un papagayo mientras que Laurita y yo caminábamos atrás sin parar de conversar. En una de las canchas jugamos un poco de futbol y saltamos cuerda, aunque no mucho, porque los niños son muy pequeños y no les sale muy bien.
Después de unas dos horas regresamos a casa, pero antes comimos algunas chucherías, fue un gran día para ellos y para nosotras, nos despedimos y aunque los niños nos pidieron que nos quedáramos una noche más les explicamos que no era posible, pero al igual que ellos queríamos compartir un poco más.
Poder reencontrarme con Laurita después de tanto tiempo me dio mucha alegría, sé que no podre verle pronto pero igual nos acompañamos en la distancia, porque las buenas amistades se sostiene en el tiempo incluso estando lejos. Espero les guste esta anécdota y estas lindas fotos, donde sin duda se ve la alegría y la belleza de estar con las personas que amamos. Me despido hasta la próxima.
