Hello, my dearest hive friends. I hope everyone's doing well, and to my fellow Cebuanos who also experienced the earthquake, I hope you are all safe. This happened way before the earthquake happened in my beloved Cebu Province. This happened during my mini blog hiatus.

š Simple Joys: How We Celebrated My Brother's Birthday š
Back then, my brother and I loved celebrating our birthdays. We would get super excited and ask your parents for balloons, cakes, and grand celebration. Now that we are going up we don't want big celebrations anymore. Instead, we just want to celebrate our birthdays in a simple way.
This is me and Zia on our wa to Bogo City to celebrate my brother's birthday. Zia ismy niece, by the way.
Before our simple celebration, we first went to church to pray and give thanks to the lord for another year of my brother's life. The birthday boy wore red that day.
The candles were 5 pesos each so we bought 20 for 100 pesos. I really like these candles because they remind me of the ones from the Santo NiƱo Church. Back when i was a kid, I loved going there. As a Cebuana, we even have a festival to celebrate Santo NiƱo.
The birthday boy requested to eat at Man Inasal, but zia requested her favorite hotdog buns from Jollibee. So before I ate my Mang Inasal chicken, I first ordered Zia's request.
This is Zia with her all-time favorite Jollibee meal. She was so happy when I finally got it for ger that she started dancing in front of everyone.
In this picture, she pretended to have a call with the Jollibee buzzer until it finally buzzed. She was so surprised because the buzzer was so loud.
After our orders arrived, I finally had the chance to eat my lunch. I literally devoured my all-time favorite Mang Inasal chicken.
This is Zia enjoying her favorite hotdog buns. She was so happy and kept saying āthank youā every five seconds. I love her so much!
After eating, my brother requested a small cake. We bought him one because he wanted something to blow out and make a wish.
I really hate growing up, birthday blues suck. I used to love birthdays so much.
That would be all thank you for reading!
