Promoting peace in the family
Hoy gracias a Dios he pasado un excelente y productivo día, pues aprendí que la paz no es simplemente la ausencia de guerra, sino que están envueltas muchísimas otras cosas más y muchas de ellas tiene que ver con cada uno de nosotros. Por lo menos en lo que tiene que ver en el ámbito familiar, es algo a lo cual todos y cada uno de nosotros debe esforzarse por promover la paz, ya que para ninguno de nosotros es un secreto que tener una vida de familia complicada, donde cada miembro de ella no tome en consideración los sentimientos de los demás, hace que el ambiente se torne difícil y por supuesto eso no hace que la familia sea ese remando de paz, ese lugar donde conseguimos estar tranquilos y sentirnos seguros como se espera que así sea.
Today, thank God I had an excellent and productive day, because I learned that peace is not simply the absence of war, but many other things are involved and many of them have to do with each one of us. At least in what has to do in the family environment, it is something that each and every one of us should strive to promote peace, because for none of us is a secret that having a complicated family life, where each member of it does not take into consideration the feelings of others, makes the environment becomes difficult and of course that does not make the family that paddle of peace, that place where we get to be calm and feel safe as it is expected to be so.
Aprendí que la principal razón por la cual cada miembro de la familia debe poner su granito de arena para que todos estemos bien y en paz tiene que ver en mi caso conmigo misma, pues que excelente es que estemos contentos con lo que hacemos por como nos conducimos en esta vida. Al estar bien y en paz contigo mismo contribuye a que tengas relaciones sanas, agradables y duraderas con todos, especialmente con tus amigos y tus seres amados. En mi caso que vivo con mis dos hijos es gratificante poder tener un ambiente cordial donde no se escucha a nadie gritar, donde hay respeto y cordialidad por eso hoy como todos los días le agradezco a mi maravilloso Dios por tener ese privilegio y poder sentirme bien. De esa manera todos salimos ganando tanto la familia y también la comunidad en general y todos los sitios donde nos desempeñamos.
I learned that the main reason why each member of the family must do his or her bit so that we are all well and at peace has to do in my case with myself, because how excellent it is that we are happy with what we do because of how we conduct ourselves in this life. Being well and at peace with yourself contributes to having healthy, pleasant and lasting relationships with everyone, especially with your friends and loved ones. In my case, living with my two children, it is gratifying to be able to have a cordial environment where you don't hear anyone yelling, where there is respect and cordiality, that's why today as every day I thank my wonderful God for having this privilege and being able to feel good. In this way we all win, both the family and the community in general and all the places where we work.
El amor de todos los miembros de la familia es fundamental para que cada uno de nosotros este dispuesto a hacer lo que le corresponde para que la paz fluya de manera natural en el círculo de la familia. En la familia aprendemos unos de otros y de esa manera nos volvemos personas fuertes, ya que lo normal es que allí demos y también recibamos apoyo, además con los valores y con los buenos principios que obtiene cada uno de los que integran la familia, nos convertiremos en seres humanos amables, honestos y bondadosos con las demás personas. Todas esas cualidades hacen pasible que todos los que forman la familia disfruten de paz.
The love of all the members of the family is fundamental so that each one of us is willing to do our part so that peace flows naturally in the family circle. In the family we learn from each other and in this way we become strong people, since the normal thing is that there we give and also receive support, in addition with the values and good principles that each one of those who integrate the family obtains, we will become kind, honest and kind human beings with the other people. All these qualities make it possible for everyone in the family to enjoy peace.
Teniendo claro el papel fundamental que desempeña la familia para obtener la paz, la mayor responsabilidad recae sobre los padres y eso es así porque tanto el padre como la madre son los modelos de los hijos, de allí que es importante que ambos progenitores tengan claro que sí ellos tienden a ser personas que no promueven la paz, sino que por el contrario contribuyen a que haya caos en la familia, esta tarea de lograr la paz se va a ver afectada de forma muy negativa. Es por eso que todos en familia deben reunirse y buscar ayuda de algún especialista para que se corrija esa situación.
Having clear the fundamental role that the family plays to obtain peace, the greatest responsibility falls on the parents and that is so because both the father and the mother are the models of the children, hence it is important that both parents are clear that if they tend to be people who do not promote peace, but on the contrary contribute to chaos in the family, this task of achieving peace will be affected in a very negative way. That is why everyone in the family should get together and seek help from a specialist to correct this situation.
Es interesante que en una buena familia los padres tienen que ser buenos ejemplos a seguir ya que esto es el mejor testimonio que los padres pueden dar para contribuir de forma efectiva en el bienestar de todos sus miembros. El respeto y la confianza es algo vital que los padres deben inculcar en toda la familia, por supuesto los padres responsable están pendiente de ayudar y supervisar a sus hijos. Si alguno de los miembros de la familia se le tilda de difícil lo propio sería ayudarlo en todo lo que se pueda para que él o ella mejore y se integre a la familia recibiendo en apoyo que tanto necesita. Además los padres jamás deben estar comparando a sus hijos, pues como todos sabemos cada hijo es único e irrepetible. Aparte las comparaciones no logran la paz en la familia, sino que por el contrario generan divisiones y lo que más anhelamos es tener una familia unida y en paz.
It is interesting that in a good family, parents have to be good examples to follow since this is the best testimony that parents can give to contribute effectively in the welfare of all its members. Respect and trust is something vital that parents should instill in the whole family, and of course responsible parents are responsible for helping and supervising their children. If one of the family members is labeled as difficult, the proper thing to do would be to help him or her in every way possible so that he or she can improve and integrate into the family receiving the support he or she needs so much. In addition, parents should never compare their children, because as we all know each child is unique and unrepeatable. Besides, comparisons do not achieve peace in the family; on the contrary, they generate divisions and what we most desire is to have a united and peaceful family.
Cuando cada miembro de la familia hace todo lo que está a su alcance para que exista un buen clima de paz en la familia, hace que nuestra familia sea fuerte, estable y unida. Este es el mejor legado que podemos dejar a nuestros hijos y a los que luego vendrán. Es algo importante tener y hacer todo lo posible por construir excelentes familias, que aporten cosas provechosas para ellas mismas y para la sociedad, así todos podemos disfrutar de verdadera estabilidad y paz, la cual redunda en beneficios y bendiciones para todos.
When each member of the family does everything in his or her power to create a good climate of peace in the family, it makes our family strong, stable and united. This is the best legacy we can leave to our children and those to come. It is important to have and to do everything possible to build excellent families, which bring benefits to themselves and to society, so that we can all enjoy true stability and peace, which results in benefits and blessings for all.
