Hello, how are you dear friends of Hive, I hope you are very well. I want to share my Saturday afternoon with you who are part of my life already, I appreciate very much that you like my publications. This Saturday I organized an outing with a very special person in my life. My beautiful daughter Emilia Valentina.
Hola. Cómo estás queridos amigos de Hive, espero que muy bien. Quiero compartir mí tarde del sábado con ustedes que forman parte de mi vida ya, agradezco mucho que les guste mis publicaciones. Este sábado organice una salida con una persona muy especial en mi vida. Mi hija hermosa Emilia Valentina.
As in all Venezuela, Maturin is also decorated for Christmas, and for days I had thought of taking my daughter to see the lights and Christmas decorations, early in the morning I looked for the clothes we were going to wear, I am like that I like to have everything ready for the time to get dressed, and at 4 pm we left, I chose that time because from there the sun is not strong, Maturin is very sunny. Our first stop was the Cathedral Nuestra Señora del Carmen, it is located in the central area, it is one of the largest in the country and the second highest in Latin America, what a pride that it is ours.
Cómo en toda Venezuela, Maturín también está decorada de navidad, y desde hace días se me había ocurrido llevar a mi hija a ver las luces y los adornos navideños, desde muy temprano busque la ropa que nos íbamos a poner, yo soy así me gusta tener todo listo para la hora de vestirme, ya a las 4 de la tarde salimos, escogí esa hora porque a partir de ahí el sol no está fuerte, Maturín es muy soleada. Nuestra primera parada fue la Catedral Nuestra Señora del Carmen, está ubicada en el casco central, es una de las más grandes del país y la segunda más alta de Latinoamérica, que orgullo que sea nuestra.
There we spent a long time walking around and looking at the decorations, of course we could not miss the pictures, me and my daughter love to take pictures. Next to the church is the Bolivar avenue, there is an island with beautiful umbrellas above the trees, I fell in love with that view, we took many pictures and the people who passed by laughed when they saw us posing.
Ahí estuvimos un buen rato caminando y viendo las decoraciones, por supuesto no podían faltar las fotos, a mí y a mi hija nos encanta tomarnos fotos. Hacia al lado de la iglesia está la avenida Bolívar, en ella una isla con unos paraguas hermosos arriba de los árboles, yo quedé enamorada de esa vista, nos tomamos muchas fotos y las personas que pasaban se reían al vernos posar.
The afternoon continued to go by and we did not stop appreciating such a beautiful gift from God as it is to see nature and share together. We lay down on the grass, Emilia was running, she ate sweets, there were clowns, there were families enjoying a very good afternoon as well as us. There were children on roller skates, bicycles, around the Cathedral there were also many street food stands, and more and more people were arriving to the place.
Seguía transcurriendo la tarde y no dejábamos de apreciar tan hermoso regalo de Dios como lo es ver la naturaleza y compartir juntas. Nos acostamos en la grama, Emilia corría, comió chucherías, había payasos, estaban las familias disfrutando al igual que nosotras de una tarde muy buena. Habían niños en patines, bicicletas, por los alrededores de la Catedral también habían muchos puestos de comida callejera, y cada vez iban llegando más y más personas al lugar.
When the afternoon began to fall we walked to the Rómulo Gallegos square, a very emblematic place of my beloved Maturín, there the atmosphere was also delicious, super cozy, super good, as in the Cathedral there were food stalls, inflatable mattresses for children, music and many families taking pictures, Emilia and I took some more.
Cuando comenzó a caer la tarde caminamos hacia la plaza Rómulo Gallegos un lugar muy emblemático de mi amada Maturín, ahí el ambiente también era riquísimo, súper acogedor, súper bien, al igual que en la Catedral habían puestos de comida, colchones inflables para los niños, música y muchas familias tomando fotos, Emilia y yo nos tomamos otras más.
These family moments are very meaningful, it was nice to see how people leave their homes and look for recreation, because of the pandemic these things had been left aside, we have been rescuing traditions, my city is beautiful, I invite you to walk around it, to take a few hours to see other environments, to walk and marvel at the lights, and create memories with your loved ones.
Estos momentos en familia son muy significativos, era bonito ver como la gente sale de sus casas y busca recrearse, por pandemia estas cosas se habían dejado de lado, hemos ido rescatando tradiciones, mi ciudad esta hermosa, los invito a recorrerla, a que se tomen unas horas para ver otros ambientes, a que caminen y se maravillen con las luces, y creen recuerdos con sus seres queridos.
