Hello again everyone!
Today, I'll share to you how my husband took me away for a short time just to get me off from my greatest stressor: Work
Problem
I have been stressing from work these past days since our due dates moved closer because of the holidays. I am rushing things that I didn't yet finish due to the heavy workload.I haven't slept well also. I often sleep 12 am, wake up at 4 and go to work at 7. I don't have time to rest properly at home 'cause my daughters are also looking for my attention which I also give to them.
My Husband's Solution
So on Sunday Afternoon, my husband asked me if I want to go out. I was hesitant at first because I have so much to do but he convinced me so I agreed. We asked my mom to take care of the kids. We used his motorcycle to travel to Rosario. I asked him on what he'd like to do there and he said he just wanted to take me out for a while.
such a nice weather-not too sunny and not cold
I love being with him in a motorbike
If I remember correctly, this is in Cuenca, Pugo, La Union
First Stop
First thing we did was to stop by a supermarket and buy groceries. We spent minutes there just walking aisle by aisle. I actually enjoy just walking inside a supermarket. i don't know about you guys but It calms me and what's best is that I'm with my husband. For me, it's a date site for married couples. Isn't it sweet when you both look at some groceries and agree on what to buy for your home especially for your kids? (Or is it just us?)
After driving the bike, he now drives the grocery cart. Haha!
shopping is fun!

Secure it properly!
2nd Stop
Our next stop is a fastfood chain where I ordered fries for the kids, a Burger for my loving husband and another fries for me. I was actually disappointed with their service since the staffs who served me was rude all throughout my transaction. But what can I do. I don't want to ruin my husband's efforts.
Inside MCDO, you can see it's best competitor, Jollibee (Or I think, they're best friends...they're always together
3rd Stop
We also stopped at Pugo, La Union public market to eat some street foods but surprisingly, mu husband ordered yet another heavy snack- a
hotdog sandwich! I only ate Empanada- a snack famous in the Ilocos region. It's a fried snack with longganisa, egg and some vegetable filling. It's good with vinegar and chili 😁.
I just noticed his reaction! I was focusing on my empanada when I took the shot.
Yumm!
4th Stop
On our way home, we stopped at one of the restaurants along the road to taste their halo-halo. We decided to go to Loyd's Kitchen which is located at Pugo, La Union. It wasn't the best halo-halo in town but surely, it satisfied our thirst for something cold. We laughed as we are so full and we just tried pur best to eat all of it since I don't want to waste food. 😜.

Home
We wen home full and I was a bit relaxed. The trip might be tiring but my mind was at peace. didn't even open my laptop that evening. We just fed our children and tucked them to bed then we went to sleep.
Takeaways
Try not to be stressed out from work because it affects your family.
Food does provide comfort but it's different when shared with someone you love 💞.
That's it for today. Thank you for joining us on our mini-date. I hope you enjoyed it. God bless us all!!!
