Espero que hayan tenido un gran fin de semana, para cerrar el mío fui a la celebración del cumpleaños de la abuela, no mía, sino de mi pareja pero es como si fuera mía también, es una señora muy dulce y cariñosa que me ha hecho sentir parte de su familia y me ha tratado como una nieta más, hoy estuvo de cumpleaños #82 y no podíamos pasar por alto la celebración de tal fecha importante para toda la familia, por lo que decidimos reunirnos en su casa para hacer una pequeña reunión y celebrar en s honor.
I hope you had a great weekend, to close mine I went to Grandma's birthday celebration, not mine, but my partner's but it's as if she were mine too, she is a very sweet and affectionate lady who has made me feel part of his family and he has treated me like another granddaughter, today was his 82nd birthday and we could not ignore the celebration of such an important date for the whole family, so we decided to meet at his house for a small meeting and celebrate in his honor.
La planificación no fue la mejor pero la idea era que la familia se reuniera a celebrar el cumpleaños de la abuela y acompañarla en este día, hacer la típica reunión familiar en casa de la abuela para celebrar un evento importante y este es el acontecimiento del año, pues, es para todos una dicha poder festejar este cumpleaños ya que a principios de este año la abuela se vio algo delicada de salud por lo que fue sometida a una cirugía de emergencia, pero hoy, casi 3 meses después se encuentra muy bien, feliz y llena de vida.
The planning was not the best but the idea was for the family to get together to celebrate Grandma's birthday and accompany her on this day, to hold the typical family reunion at Grandma's house to celebrate an important event and this is the event of the year. Well, it is a joy for everyone to be able to celebrate this birthday since at the beginning of this year the grandmother's health was somewhat delicate, so she underwent emergency surgery, but today, almost 3 months later, she is very well, happy and full of life.
Hoy no pudo estar toda la familia reunida por responsabilidades de trabajo o por distancia pero los que estuvimos hicimos lo posible por hacer del día de cumpleaños de la abuela el mejor de todos, como mencioné anteriormente no pudimos organizarnos de la mejor manera pero lo poco que se pudo hacer a ella le gustó y lo disfrutó mucho.
The whole family could not be together today due to work responsibilities or distance, but those of us who were there did everything possible to make Grandma's birthday the best of all, as I mentioned before, we were not able to organize ourselves in the best way, but what little we it could be done, she liked it and enjoyed it very much.
Mi suegra preparó para ella una deliciosa torta de chocolate con la cual cantamos el feliz cumpleaños y si algo tiene esta familia es que se canta cumpleaños bien animado y alegre, sus hijos y nietos le cantan y dedican palabras por su día, al finalizar la abuela sopló su velita y ella misma picó y repartió la torta.
My mother-in-law prepared a delicious chocolate cake for her with which we sang happy birthday and if this family has something, it is that they sing birthdays well animated and happy, their children and grandchildren sing and dedicate words for their day, at the end of the grandmother she blew out her candle and she herself chopped and distributed the cake.
Y así fue la celebración del cumpleaños #82 de la abuela en familia, con una reunión sencilla pero muy significativa y con el único propósito de festejar la vida de este ser tan especial, hacerla sentir querida e importante para cada miembro de esta familia ❤
And so was the celebration of the grandmother's 82nd birthday as a family, with a simple but very significant meeting and with the sole purpose of celebrating the life of this special being, making her feel loved and important for each member of this family ❤
