El día de hoy quiero dedicar una publicación a mi mamá, una mujer guerrera, de gran corazón que ha sabido sobreponerse a diversas adversidades de la vida y que además ha sido una madre que siempre nos ha demostrado que sus hijos somos su prioridad.

Les cuento, que luego de finalizar sus estudios de ingeniería en computación hizo realidad su sueño de ser mamá (primero conmigo y luego con mi hermanito menor), así que desde que nos dió a luz se ha entregado en cuerpo y alma a su labor como madre. Tal como ella misma ha dicho en múltiples ocasiones: "Soy una ingeniera en computación con postgrado de mamá 💜". Pues luego de tenernos no llegó a ejercer su profesión ni a continuar su proceso de formación, sino que en su lugar, después de su divorcio comenzó a trabajar en un colegio para poder cubrir económicamente nuestras necesidades básicas y además estar el mayor tiempo posible con nosotros, pues siempre nos ha demostrado que somos su prioridad.

Cada vez que escucho historias de personas con madres o padres ausentes se me rompe el corazón, y a la vez me siento sumamente bendecida y agradecida por la madre que Dios me dió, pues ella ha estado allí para nosotros en las buenas y en las malas, en todos los momentos importantes de nuestras vidas: En cada presentación del colegio, en cada actividad del día de las madres, retirando nuestras boletas, haciéndonos disfraces, ayudándolos con su gran creatividad a salir adelante con proyectos científicos, decorando el comedor de nuestra casa para sorprendernos en nuestros cumpleaños y celebrando con gran orgullo cada uno de nuestros logros.

Actualmente mi hermano tiene 19 años y yo 26 años, y seguimos contando con ella, recibiendo muestras de su amor cada día. Sabemos que no ha sido nada fácil para ella criarnos sola, ha sido todo un reto, sobretodo porque no hay un manual de instrucciones que te enseñe como ser mamá y te prepare para tantas situaciones que se pueden dar a lo largo de los años, sin embargo lo ha hecho todo lo mejor que ha podido, aprendiendo de los errores, practicando, y siendo nuestra incondicional fuente de amor y protección.

La admiro por su entrega como madre, la admiro por su mente de ingeniero que la lleva a querer reparar cualquier cosa que se dañe en la casa, la admiro por su amor a los animales y su corazón solidario que la lleva a aportar algo a todos los que pueda, la admiro por ser fiel a sí misma y a sus principios. También la admiro por su humildad (aunque debo admitir que me encantaría que reconociera más a menudo todo lo maravilloso que hay en ella), la admiro además por haber logrado criarnos sola, en valores y con mucha unión familiar.

Es maravilloso tener la oportunidad de expresarme aquí en Hive, y de dar muestra de la importancia que tiene la presencia de los padres en las vidas de sus hijos, pues es algo muy significativo. Adoro a mi mamá y a mi hermano, adoro como somos actualmente como familia, y realmente una gran parte de lo que somos como familia y como individuos se lo debemos a ella, y me siento muy orgullosa de decirlo.

Today I want to dedicate a post to my mom, a warrior woman, with a big heart who has been able to overcome various adversities in life and who has also been a mother who has always shown us that we are her priority.

After finishing her studies in computer engineering she made her dream of being a mom come true (first with me and then with my little brother), so since she gave birth to us she has given herself body and soul to her work as a mother. As she herself has said on multiple occasions: "I am a computer engineer with a post-graduate degree as a mom 💜". For after having us she did not get to practice her profession or continue her training process, but instead, after her divorce she started working in a school to be able to financially cover our basic needs and also to be as much time as possible with us, as she has always shown us that we are her priority.

Every time I hear stories of people with absent mothers or fathers, my heart breaks, and at the same time I feel extremely blessed and grateful for the mother that God gave me, because she has been there for us through thick and thin, in all the important moments of our lives: In each school presentation, in each Mother's Day activity, withdrawing our report cards, making costumes for us, helping us with her great creativity to get ahead with scientific projects, decorating the dining room of our house to surprising us on our birthdays and celebrating each of our achievements with great pride.

Currently my brother is 19 years old and I am 26 years old, and we continue to count on her, receiving samples of her love every day. We know that it has not been easy for her to raise us alone, it has been quite a challenge, especially since there is no instruction manual that teaches you how to be a mother and prepares you for so many situations that can occur over the years, however, she has done everything the best she can, learning from mistakes, practicing, and being our unconditional source of love and protection.

I admire her for her dedication as a mother, I admire her for her mind as an engineer that leads her to want to repair anything that is damaged in the house, I admire her for her love of animals and her supportive heart that leads her to contribute something to everyone she can, I admire her for being true to herself and her principles. I also admire her for her humility (although I must admit that I would love for her to recognize more often everything wonderful that is in her), I also admire her for having managed to raise us alone, with values ​​and with a lot of family unity.

It's wonderful to have the opportunity to express myself here at Hive, and to show how important the presence of parents is in the lives of their children, because it is something very significant. I adore my mom and my brother, I love who we are today as a family, and truly we owe a huge part of who we are as a family and as individuals to her, and I'm very proud to say it.
