Hello, my dear Hivers! I'm here again for another blog content. In this uncertain life, I hope you are all taking care of yourselves. It may be in the aspect of health or in the overall holistic well being. I'm here to remind you that we can't function our best if we don't prioritize self-care. Got it? Anyway, the blog that I'm going to share today is all about My Mom's Birthday. Should we get started?
My Mom was enjoying her mini burgers—served with love.
My Mom just turned a little older last January 16, 2024. This birthday of her would be the 5th celebration that we had bonded together. Since most of her life, she's away from us for work and instances are, she would only celebrate her birthday alone or in the house of her employer. So, this is really a special day for us. For a usual birthday celebrant, they would love to have simple gatherings at home or cook some cuisines they love but for my mom she didn't like it. She just wanted to have a simple birthday celebration and divert from the conventional. As per request, my sister decided to have her birthday dinner at one of the restaurants here in Cebu.
The restaurant that I am referring to is none other than KuBu Restaurant that is located in IT Park Cebu City. We arrived at the place around 5:30 pm but our target time to dine in was at 6:00 pm, so we waited a little bit.
The place was so beautiful. Their interior designs are the top-tier. Their lighting perfectly matches the glow at night. When it comes to their table arrangements, they also played best. It is so well-organized and their seats are too comfortable. They also have a second floor area where you can see the great view from the neighboring area. In addition, they also have amazing music played while you dine in. More importantly, they have the most approachable, welcoming and gentle staff that's all ready to serve you.
And now let's dive into their Food.
I would say it's 10/10. What we ordered were boneless puchero, crab relleno, kubo sliders, cucumber lemonade and rice. Boneless puchero was cooked well, I did consume the corn. For the crab relleno, the same thing was done in perfection. Kubo sliders also taste so good. Overall, they have served delectable food that is meant to satisfy the customers cravings. Would you believe that I had a post-dinner food coma? I guess that's always what I got for being a big foodie.
Here's the full detail of their menu. You might as well look at it to have an idea on what they are serving.
Here's more to see about KuBu Restaurant. From the ambience, the interior, display, lighting, the complementary music and the staff—they are top- notch. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how amazing the restaurant is. You guys can also visit KuBu Restaurant and for sure, you'll get the best experience while dining in, the same way that we had.
But wait, our night did not end yet...
Our last stop before going home was at Haru Studio. It is located at IT Park, Skyrise 4b, Cebu City, Philippines. It's a self-service photo booth studio to get your perfect shots. I really had no idea that we would try this one but my sister wants to give it a go. If you want to have captured memories with your friends, loved ones or even by yourself, Haru Studio is the best fit for you. Plus, you don't have to worry if someone from the audience is watching you, because they have an assigned cubicle for you to do all the picture- taking. Additionally, you can also claim the hard and soft copy of your photos.
Whoa! This night was one for the books. I can really see through my mom's eyes how happy she was on her special day. Even if it is simple, what's most important is that she genuinely enjoyed it. Additionally, her precious daughters were all in attendance to celebrate her birthday—I guess it's all that truly matters.
That's all for today, my dear Hivers! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog up until the very end. I hope you enjoy reading it. Until next time!
