My niece and nephew visited us on a sunny Sunday afternoon
I observed my little grandniece as she filled their car with teddies. I could understand why she found friendship with them.
Traveling miles away from the city in search of loved ones who are farmers living in the outskirts of the city meant a lot to me. We didn’t plan their coming but suddenly their appeared. My little daughter were so happy to meet with her second Causin. They played around inside our living rooms with great joy.
She’s currently the only daughter in that young family. She doesn’t have much young kids like her in their home. So she found companionship in those teddies. Little wonder she refused to go back home with her family; preferred to stay back and have all the with Kaima my only daughter. My pretty grandniece staked her studies for time with her cousin Kaima. I could feel her heartbeat enough to understand how lovely it’s to stay together with families and loved ones.
Sometimes life happens to us in such manner. I remember back in those days when I didn’t have much friends around. Reason being that I grew up in a family where we’re not allowed to mix up or play with strangers, and as I grew up, finding peer groups and friends was very hard for me because I couldn’t relate with lifestyle of other youths around me.
It made me to start looking online to see if I could find friends that has same line of interest as I myself.
Luckily for me, I found lots of friends from Hive and Bitcoin Cash community.
When I saw my grandniece surrounding herself with so many teddies. I felt for her! Being alone may look better at times for we adults but having friends around to me is preferable.
Family as they say is everything. Therefore we should try as much as possible to be closer to our loved ones.
