I wish you all a happy weekend. It was January, 7 2023. And this is what happen last Saturday! My morning begins with a stunning view on my second day in Kota Kinabalu. This is the view from my hotel room, and I'm thankful to be waking up to God's wonderful creation.
To begin, I went to the cafe for breakfast, and as usual, they will give a buffet meal to all of their guests.
I only order a few things because I am running late for breakfast. I arrive at 9 a.m., and the buffet will end around 10 a.m.
Because today's plans are just in the afternoon, I wanted to indulge myself and relax in the bath tub, just feeling the warm water enthusiasm. This is like therapy for me, and it truly helps to calm my nerves.
After that, I'm getting ready to meet my investor in the lobby, and we're going to lunch at the Sri Latha Restaurant, which serves rice on banana leaves. I was still stuffed from breakfast, so I didn't get anything for myself. I only got an iced lemon tea. (I didn't snap a picture because I was talking about our next project.)
After lunch, I take them to my friend's spa in Kota Kinabalu's Centre Point Shopping Mall for a foot massage. Three of us were just having fun and relaxing until the afternoon.
We intended to visit the other unit of our homestay, which had recently completed renovations. But I have to wait for my business partner to close her shop before we can see it.
So we returned to the hotel and sat in the lobby area, drinking hot tea and eating pastries while waiting for my friend to close her shop.
By the time the shop closed, it was nearly 5 p.m., so we went to Marina Court, where I used to be staying. It's an old apartment building, but it's in a good location because it's in the busiest section of town.
After we finished evaluating, we made a dinner reservation at Kohinoor Waterfront in KK, and my investor is going to introduce us to his friends so that we can spend the night with them because it is Saturday night.
I also take advantage of the opportunity to see my friends who were performing at the waterfront. They were probably surprised to see me because they assumed I was in Sandakan. Meeting my musical sisters has made my day brighter than before.
We stayed until 11 p.m. because the dinner was so good. We ended up spending our wonderful day together with my business partner, my investor, and his friends as they planned to visit the new club named as Illusion.
Tonight, I know I'll sleep well because I had a great day today. Tomorrow is another day for me, and another story for me to tell on my blog. I wish everyone a good weekend and best wishes to everyone who is reading. I'll sign off now because it's time for me to sleep. Good night!
