Leaving our first home.
It's been a couple of years since we moved out from our first home. We lived in Tacloban for a year, and that's the time that we stayed alone, I mean without our in-laws on either side. After a year, we needed to go to my husband's parents in Cebu due to his work.
Before we leave Tacloban, we want to make sure that we've experienced a few bonding moments. We visited Balay ni Romana.
We originally wanted to have a little staycation. For some reason, we were not able to do a staycation, but we still visited the spot as well.
Balay ni Romana is located in Brgy. Sta. Rita, Samar. Just a few minutes away from San Juanico Bridge. It was also the time that my husband let me drive to practice.
It was a very sunny day. Parking space is okay. Although it was very sunny at that time, the place to dine in was nice. I almost forgot, there were a few people dining there too. It was actually perfect for people who just wanted to have a quick getaway from the city. They have a nook dining area too. Since there were already people at the nook area, we decided to take the dining table outside. It was a hot day, and all fans were occupied by the other diners, but the owner immediately installed another wall fan for us since we have a toddler. Very accommodating.
They also have overnight stays for 1,000 with free breakfast for 2, and they also offer a portable pool for 8 people for 100 pesos per head. They also have a few Instagrammable spots that you can enjoy.
Feedback:
It's an 8.5 out of 10. For me, as a person who doesn't like crowded places, it's a nice place to hang out, especially if you stay at their nook area. By the way, the photos were taken 2 years ago and they might have developed the place too.
