Hola amigos de #Familyandfriends espero que esten muy bien y esten disfrutando de su fin de semana, por aca en modo encierro para variar jeje, pero el pasado 6 de enero nos toco salir, a casa de mis padres😂para ir a cantarle cumple a mi hermanito menor, que en un abrir y cerrar de ojos llego a las 17 primaveras, aun recuerdo cuando estuvo entre la vida y la muerte durante 9 largos dias, y hoy agradezco a Dios por tenerlo con nosotros sano, fuerte y además guapísimo jeje, el es el turco de la familia😂 siempre le echamos broma a mi mamá que el es hijo del turco que nos vendia electrodomesticos hace años jajaja es que definitivamente no se parece a ninguno de nosotros😂tiene rasgos mucho mas finos, pero en la familia de mami si hay un tio que es su estampa, o bueno mi hermano es la de el!!
Hello #Familyandfriends friends! I hope you are doing great and enjoying your weekend. Over here, we're in "lockdown mode" for a change, haha. However, this past January 6th, we had to head out to my parents' house 😂 to go sing Happy Birthday to my younger brother, who turned 17 in the blink of an eye. I still remember when he was between life and death for 9 long days, and today I thank God for having him with us healthy, strong, and also very handsome, hehe. He is the "Turk" of the family 😂; we always joke with my mom that he’s the son of the Turkish man who used to sell us appliances years ago, hahaha. He definitely doesn't look like any of us 😂—he has much finer features—but in my mom's family, there is an uncle who is his spitting image, or well, my brother is his!
Pero bueno el es nuestro regalo de Reyes, y aunque cumple en una fecha en la que el bolsillo esta adolorido, no podia dejar de hacerle su tortica, de hecho la receta que compartí ayer, era su torta, por otra parte mi mamá tambien le mando a hacer una torta porque este año el dijo que queria una pequeña reunion con sus amigos, que gracias a Dios no fueron mas de 20 jeje
Anyway, he is our "Three Kings' Day" gift, and even though his birthday falls on a date when the wallet is hurting, I couldn't skip making him his little cake. In fact, the recipe I shared yesterday was for his cake! On the other hand, my mom also ordered a cake for him because this year he said he wanted a small gathering with his friends—which, thank God, wasn't more than 20 people, hehe.
Mis padres nos fueron a buscar a las 5pm pero obvio estabamos listos desde las 4, y Ema ya se estaba desesperando por cierto jeje
My parents picked us up at 5:00 PM, but obviously, we were ready since 4:00. By the way, Ema was already getting desperate, hehe.
Al llegar me puse manos a la Obra a ayudar a mi mamá, le hice dos pizza grandes, hicimos pastelitos, galleta con cremas, pan con salsas y pepitos, aunque solo hay foto de los pastelitos porque tenia las manos ocupadas, todo quedo rico
As soon as we arrived, I got to work helping my mom. I made two large pizzas, and we made pastelitos, cookies with cream, bread with dips, and pepitos. Although there are only photos of the pastelitos because my hands were full, everything turned out delicious!
Luego de un par de horas cantamos cumpleaños y obvio las fotos antes, que por cierto logramos que sonriera para algubas fotos jeje eso es un gran logro 😂
After a couple of hours, we sang Happy Birthday—and obviously took photos beforehand. By the way, we actually managed to get him to smile for a few photos, hehe; that’s a huge achievement! 😂
Al final nos quedanos contando tantas anecdotas❤️y sin duda agradecidos infinitamente por tenerlo en nuestras vidas❤️
In the end, we stayed up sharing so many anecdotes ❤️ and, without a doubt, feeling infinitely grateful to have him in our lives. ❤️
