Going on a walk with my family is part of the memories I would like to have forever. It's been a long time since we went out to places outside our municipality, however this time we planned to go to outdoor and emblematic parks in the state of Zulia.

In order to enjoy this trip without having to worry about how to get back home 🏡, because we don't have a vehicle and we were more than an hour away, we contacted a recreation group that organized this outing, paying $6 per person, which seemed like a good price to me.

The organizers hired a bus for 50 people, plus the reenactors. We arrived at the scheduled time and left for Maracaibo, the state capital. For the $6 we paid each, they offered us roundtrip transportation, a candy combo, hydration throughout the trip, and a hot dog with its respective soft drink for dinner. All these details were wonderful, because on other trips, what we paid only covered transportation.

We arrived at the "Vereda del Lago" park on time. Our destination is well known in the state of Zulia, and coming to Maracaibo is passing through this beautiful place. We also walked through the plaza that they built last year in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the naval battle of the lake. This monument is inside the park and it was our first time there.

The park is mostly outdoors, and at the time of our arrival the sun must have been relentless, but luck was on our side, because it was all cloudy, and it stayed that way while we were there.

The place is quite large with many trees, small shops, sports fields, and parks for children. Many people and families go to exercise, ride bicycles or electric scooters, walk their dogs, admire the immensity of Lake Maracaibo just sitting on the grass, take lots of pictures, learn about the history of our state at the new monument, walk, enjoy the breeze, even eat traditional food, and cotton candy is a must, hehehe, my daughter loves it.

My husband, my daughter and I need moments like this, as a family, the three of us together, without routine. Classes at school are about to start for Dariana and my vacation as a university professor is coming to an end soon, and we really deserved this trip and we deserve more, hehehe.

We enjoyed the park, took lots of pictures to remember, we also ate our favorite snacks that we brought, and so we didn't have to spend so much on shopping at the park, which is an advantage to be able to go prepared from home 🏡.

Hopefully we can go back to the park soon, because this day was more than special, I particularly loved spending quality time with my family, in another environment as beautiful as this one, outdoors. My husband was always attentive to us, my daughter eating her sweets, we enjoyed it very much, and hoping that more moments like this will be repeated together always. For the next time we will be prepared with balls and skates, the place is ideal for that 😉.

Ir de paseo con mi familia es parte de los recuerdos que quisiera tener por siempre. Hace mucho tiempo que no saliamos a lugares fuera de nuestro municipio, sin embargo ésta vez nos planificamos para ir a parques al aire libre y emblemáticos del estado Zulia.

Para poder disfrutar de éste paseo sin tener que preocuparnos en como regresar a casa 🏡, porque no tenemos vehículo y estábamos a más de una hora de distancia, contactamos a un grupo de recreación que organizo ésta salida, pagando 6$ por persona, lo que me pareció un buen precio.

Los organizadores contrataron un bus para 50 personas, más los recreadores. Estuvimos a la hora prevista y partimos a Maracaibo, la capital del estado. Por los 6$ que pagamos c/u, nos ofrecieron el traslado ida y vuelta, un combo de dulces, hidratacion en todo el paseo, y para la cena un perro caliente con su respectivo refresco. Todos estos detalles estuvieron maravillosos, porque en otros viajes por lo que pagamos, solo cubre el traslado.

Llegamos a buena hora al parque "Vereda del lago", nuestro destino, es bien conocido en el estado Zulia, y venir a Maracaibo es pasar por éste hermoso lugar. También caminamos por la plaza que construyeron el año pasado en conmemoración a los 200 años de la batalla naval del lago. Éste monumento está dentro del parque y fue nuestra primera vez allí.

El parque está al aire libre mayormente, y a las horas de nuestra llegada debía sentirse el sol implacable, sin embargo la suerte nos acompaño, porque estaba todo nublado, y asi se mantuvo mientras estuvimos allí.

El lugar es bastante grande con muchos árboles, pequeños locales, canchas deportivas, parques para niños. Muchas personas y familias van a realizar ejercicios, manejar bicicleta o monopatines eléctricos, pasean los perritos, admiran la inmensidad del lago de Maracaibo simplemente sentados en las gramas, tomar muchas fotografías, conocer la historia de nuestro estado en el nuevo monumento, caminar, disfrutar de la brisa, incluso comer comida tradicional, y los algodones de azucar no pueden faltar, Jejeje, mi hija los ama.

Mi esposo, mi niña y yo, necesitamos momentos así, en familia, los tres juntos, sin rutina. Las clases en el colegio están por comenzar para Dariana e incluso ya pronto terminan mis vacaciones como docente universitario, y realmente mereciamos éste paseo y merecemos mas, Jejeje.

Disfrutamos del parque, muchísimas fotografías para el recuerdo, también comimos nuestros snacks favoritos que llevamos, y así no tuvimos que gastar tanto en comprar en el parque, lo que es una ventaja poder ir preparados desde casa 🏡.

Ojalá y pronto podamos volver al parque, porque éste día fue más que especial, particularmente me encantó pasar tiempo de calidad con mi familia, en otro ambiente tan bonito como éste, al aire libre. Mi esposo siempre estuvo atento de nosotras, mi hija comiendo sus chucherías, disfrutamos muchísimo, y esperando que se repitan más momentos como éste juntos siempre. Para la próxima vamos preparados con pelotas y patines, el lugar es ideal para eso 😉.
