Hello Hive friends, happy and productive Tuesday to all.
Yesterday was celebrated the Venezuelan Doctor's Day, reason why we paid a small tribute to the white coat heroes of our medical service, my boss prepared a breakfast with tumbarranchos, soda, empanadas and a soft drink for them, although frankly she made them believe that they would have a meeting to discuss other issues of the service and really wanted to let them know how important they are to us.
The administration graduate, my hygienist, the nursing staff and myself, were accomplices and helped him in the surprise by setting up the breakfasts for the doctors, we waited for his signal (a phone call) to enter the multipurpose room where the supposed meeting was being held, also a saxophonist from our band to fill with melody with the song: "Venezuela" that flooded with even more joy this nice moment.
The doctors enjoyed their breakfast and we the guests ate some empanadas that were as toasted as delicious, but previously my boss gave them some personalized pens to use in their working days, we took the opportunity to also celebrate the birthday of our colleague Yajaira with an arequipe cake that also brought a cover full of goodies.
It was a brief breakfast, but a great celebration for those selfless beings of our service who are always available to watch and care for the health of the sick, in addition to providing healing to the ailments they may have at the time, we are really fortunate to have their wonderful support and hope that their knowledge and hands continue to be instrumental in filling patients with calm in times of distress, illness or pain.
Being part of this tribute made me feel full of heart, because there is always more joy in giving than in receiving, especially when it comes to my co-workers.

Ayer se celebró el Día del Médico Venezolano, razón por la cuál se les rindió un pequeño homenaje o agasajo a los héroes de bata blanca de nuestro servicio médico, mi jefa preparó un desayuno con tumbarranchos, refresco, empanadas y un refresco para ellos, aunque francamente ella les hizo creer que tendrían una reunión para hablar otros asuntos del servicio y realmente quería hacerle saber lo importante que son para nosotros.
La licenciada de administración, mi higienista, el personal de enfermería y mi persona, fuimos cómplices y le ayudamos en la sorpresa armando los desayunos para los médicos, esperamos su señal (una llamada por teléfono) para entrar al salón de usos múltiples donde se estaba celebrando la supuesta reunión, también un saxofonista de nuestra banda para llenar de melodía con la canción: "Venezuela" que inundó de aún más alegría este lindo momento.
Los médicos degustaron de sus desayuno y nosotros los invitados comimos algunas empanadas que eataban tan tostadas como deliciosas, pero previamente mi jefa les obsequió unos bolígrafos personalizados para hacer uso en sus jornadas laborales, aprovechamos la ocasión para además celebrar el cumpleaños de nuestra compañera Yajaira con un pastel de arequipe que además traía una cubierta repleta de golosinas.
Fue un breve desayuno, pero una gran celebración para esos seres abnegados de nuestro servicio que siempre están a disposición de velar y cuidar la salud de los enfermos, además de brindarle curación a las dolencias que puedan tener en el momento, somos realmente afortunados de contar con su maravilloso apoyo y esperamos que sus conocimientos y manos sigan siendo instrumento para llenar de calma a los pacientes en momentos de angustia, enfermedad o dolor.
Ser parte de este homenaje me hizo sentir con el corazón lleno, porque siempre hay más dicha en dar que en recibir y más cuando se trata de mis compañeros de trabajo.
