March 5 was my middle sister and colleague 
That day, our electricity was cut off for four hours, so we all sat in the courtyard of the house to cool off in the breeze while enjoying delicious crackers with tuna and chicken sauce, as well as potato and meat patties with tartar sauce. The lack of electricity was not going to interrupt the celebration.
Finally, the power came back on and we were able to take some family photos, which we hadn't been able to do before, in a space with a little decoration that my mom had made, where there was a pineapple cake that my sister had been given, as well as several gifts that her boyfriend's family had brought her. My dad didn't join us at that moment because he was feeling a little under the weather.
An hour later, my mom took a second tres leches cake with cream and peaches and some sweets out of the fridge. Now there were not one but two cakes to sing happy birthday to. My sister was happy with her cold dessert, as it is one of her favorites after carrot cake.
We all sang "Happy Birthday" cheerfully, and my sister blew out the candle and made a wish. I couldn't try the cake that day because I'm trying to cut down on sugar, and it wasn't until today that I was able to try it. I must say that it was delicious and that the cream was the best part. Even though several days had passed since it was made, it was still fresh.
On the other hand, it was a lovely evening. My sister is about to turn 30, and I am so happy to be able to celebrate each birthday with her. I know it will always be this way as long as life allows.

El 5 de marzo estuvo de cumpleaños mi hermana del medio y colega
Ese día nos quitaron la electricidad durante 4 horas, así que nos sentamos todos en el patio de la casa para que la brisa nos refrescara, mientras disfrutabamos de unas deliciosas galletas saladas con salsa de atún y pollo, además de pasteles de papa y carne con salsa tártara, la falta del servicio eléctrico no iba a interrumpir la celebración.
Finalmente llegó la electricidad y pudimos tomar algunas fotografías en familia ya que no pudimos hacerlo antes, en un espacio con una pequeña decoración que le hizo mi mamá donde habían una torta de piña que le regalaron a mi hermana además de varios obsequios que le trajeron la familia de su novio, mi papá no nos acompañó en ese momento porque se sentía un poco indispuesto de salud.
Una hora después mi mamá saco de la nevera una segunda torta de tres leches con crema y melocotones y algunos dulces, ya no había una sino dos tortas para cantar el cumpleaños feliz, mi hermana estaba contenta con su postre frío, ya que es una de sus favoritas después de la torta de zanahoria.
Cantamos alegremente el cumpleaños feliz todos y mi hermana apago la velita pidiendo un deseo, no pude probar el pastel ese día porque estoy tratando de bajar el consumo de azúcar y no fue hasta hoy que pude probarla, debo decir que estaba buenísima y que la crema fue lo mejor de todo, aunque ya habían pasado varios días desde su elaboración estaba fresca.
Por otra parte, fue una linda noche, ya mi hermana esta cerca de cumplir los 30 y que dicha para mi poder acompañarla en cada cumpleaños, se que siempre será así mientras la vida lo permita.
