Plaza del Oso with my younger brother. | En la Plaza del Oso con mi hermano pequeño.

Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos de esta comunidad de Family&Friends en este inicio de semana.

Warm greetings to all my dear friends in the Family&Friends community as we start the week.

Amigos sigo recorriendo lugares con mi hermano menor Alcides, esta vez fuimos hacia la plaza del oso o la plaza de los agachados, pero que lleva por nombre, plaza José Antonio Páez que buscar rendir tributos especial a este prócer de la patria justamente situada en toda la avenida principal, de BellaVista, justamente iniciando, realice un recorrido bastante largo y luego de pasar de la esquina de A que Luis decidimos proceder a subir a esta plaza, me sentía bastante segura y tranquila con mi hermano, ya que su compañía es bastante reconfortante y así puedo tomar las fotos con tranquilidad.

Friends, I’m still exploring places with my younger brother Alcides; this time we went to the Plaza del Oso, or Plaza de los Agachados, but which is officially named Plaza José Antonio Páez, a square designed to pay special tribute to this national hero, situated right on the main avenue in BellaVista, right at the start. I went for quite a long walk and, after passing the corner of A and Luis, we decided to head up to this square. I felt quite safe and at ease with my brother, as his company is very comforting and so I can take photos without any worries.

Juntos, junto con mi hermano hicimos un gran recorrido por toda esta la plaza, no tenía suficientes personas por lo que detalladamente, mi hermano y yo quisimos observar cada uno de los detalles y poder entenderla justamente en una de sus esquinas. Esta posee un oso muy parecido al de las empresas polar también tiene un escenario y a medida que vas conociendo la plaza va subiendo por sus, distintos escalones es una plaza que posee bastantes árboles, pero apesar de que recientemente se ve que fue pintada se encuentra algo deteriorada, ya que no le dan mantenimiento a sus arbustos.

Together with my brother, we took a long walk around the whole square; there weren’t many people there, so my brother and I wanted to take a close look at every detail and really get to know it, starting at one of its corners. It features a bear very similar to the one used by Polar companies; it also has a stage, and as you explore the square, you climb its various steps. It is a square with quite a few trees, but although it looks as though it has recently been painted, it is somewhat run-down, as the bushes are not being maintained.

Una vez más conociendo un lugar nuevo de la ciudad junto con mi hermano, el recorrido fue de cierta manera, a pesar de que la plaza tenía bastantes detalles muy rápido, luego de conocer cada uno de sus detalles subimos a la parte superior del centro de la plaza en donde se encontraba la estatua que rinde tributo, a este prócer, como lo de José Antonio Páez y es la misma junto con mi hermano Alcides, decidimos tomar diferentes fotografías de varios ángulos y así conversamos él y yo de lo que hizo este gran hombre.

Once again, exploring a new part of the city with my brother, the tour was, in a way, quite quick, even though the square had plenty of interesting features; after taking in every detail, we climbed to the top of the square where the statue paying tribute to this national hero, José Antonio Páez, stands. Together with my brother Alcides, we decided to take various photographs from different angles, and so we chatted about what this great man had achieved.

Normalmente mi hermano Alcides es bastante culto, tiene un conocimiento general muy amplio y conoce mucho de la vida de las personas que hicieron labores importantes en el mundo y en nuestro país, siempre me gusta ir a visitar lugares con él aparte de que me hace sentir acompañada tiendo a aprender bastante de él porque tiene muchos, conocimientos y eso es importante aparte de que nos permite estas caminatas reafirmar nuestra unión de hermanos y poder compartir mucho más haciendo cosas totalmente diferentes.

My brother Alcides is usually quite well-read; he has a very broad general knowledge and knows a great deal about the lives of people who have made significant contributions to the world and to our country. I always enjoy visiting places with him; not only does it make me feel company, but I also tend to learn a lot from him because he is so knowledgeable, and that’s important. What’s more, these walks allow us to strengthen our bond as siblings and to share so much more by doing completely different things.

Por último, fue un agradable recorrido el que tuve con mi hermano Alcides, por último nos terminamos de tomar la fotografía y luego nos regresamos para terminar el recorrido de otros lugares sin duda alguna, es grandioso poder hacer actividades diferentes con tu hermano y a su vez, poder conocer nuevos lugares de la ciudad que resultan cotidianos, pero con buena compañía, todo es más sencillo.

Finally, I had a lovely walk with my brother Alcides; we finished by taking a photo and then headed back to explore some other places. It’s certainly great to do different things with your brother and, at the same time, to discover new parts of the city that you might otherwise take for granted but in good company, everything is easier.
