Hello, today I am here to tell you about my arrival in the town where I grew up and where I have most of my family and friends, I recommend you read carefully and not just see the images, since I will tell you a couple of things that will give rise to the Post that you will see in the following days ☺️
As I already told you in Previous Post, I went not only to visit, but also to take my grandmother, who was in the city doing his routine medical exams..
We arrived at the town of Areo after a 2-hour trip, at 11 am we were already home and although I would have liked to show you the arrival, I have to say that my grandmother brought so many things that it was impossible for me to even take the phone out of my pocket .
Upon arrival, my grandmother began to water her plants, here you can see her happy with her orchid flowers. She is a lover of gardening and when she arrived and saw her plants with somewhat dry soil, she immediately went to get water 😂
On the other hand, my little cousins were also excited to see us arrive and after helping us to accommodate the luggage they accosted me like ants to a sugar cube. I don't know where they got a ball and a glove, although they managed to get them and we played throwing the ball for half an hour.
I can't help but think of North American movies every time I play catch, it's generally a bit of a weird game for Venezuelans to just throw the ball, we usually hit it... HAHA, it sounds pretty obvious and maybe it is, although it is. a reality, in Venezuela we usually play baseball even if we are only two people 😂
Later, after playing catch, we decided to play Scrable, it's a game that I personally like a lot and I actually won, although we had to leave the game halfway through, since lunch was ready.
And what better way to have lunch than with a good chicken soup made over firewood, I know that for many, just cooking with firewood is something very strange and I understand them, in the cities the closest thing we have to that is making barbecue with coal.
On the other hand, in the field it is the best way to do it and I must admit that it gives an extra flavor to the food, I don't know if it is a question of temperature, although I assure you that there is absolutely nothing that compares to a soup made in firewood ☺️
Something that I really like about the field is that it makes me see that I need much less than what I have. Don't get me wrong, progressing is fine, upgrading is fine, and certainly having modern items is fine. But, I have a good chef's knife, super expensive and from a decent brand and this thing cuts more 😂
I have saving bulbs at home, LEDs and also light rings and here with one of the cheapest incandescent bulbs on the market, the photos have the right point of saturation and brightness without the need to use flash. In other words, everything in the countryside, however humble it may be, meets the objectives better than some objects in the city.
To end the days, I would sit at the door of my uncle's business to repair an old slingshot that I got in the patio of the house, all while looking out, waiting for someone to come by to say hello. Those are things that small town people do haha
It's funny, although really if we do it, sit and look outside, see the trees move and the people go by...
Logically, what was shown in this post does not cover everything that I experienced in these two days that I was traveling and although I would like to show you more, you must wait until tomorrow to continue meeting more members of my family and to see the activities that we carry out.
I hope you enjoyed my stories and my trip, I really enjoyed being with my family and they are undoubtedly relaxing days for me ☺️
