Good day, hivers! How many friends do you have? Are they a lot or less? If so, what does friendship mean for you? Today, I will share some perceptions and experiences I had with my friends. I want to share my thoughts to show how they mean to me.
Friendship- a simple word yet it holds so much depth. We certainly meet countless people in life, but only a few become that person who we consider true friends. For me, friendship is more than just having people to hang out with. It's about who stays beside you even in times of challenges. It doesn't matter if how long you spend time with each other, it's about planning to spend time with them until the very last.
FRIENDSHIP IS MORE THAN JUST FUN
Many people think that friendship is all about laughing together, hanging out together, and spending time with each other. But what they do not know is that we cried with them, we told secrets to them, and we shared problems with them.
I remember being there for them when things weren't going well in their lives. How they cried their lungs out telling me what was bothering them, how things got out of their control and many more. I was there for them and they were there for me too when I needed something. We never forget to support each other during hard times because a real friend doesn't just celebrate your wins, they will stand by your side when life gets tough.
We always had something in our lives to talk about and shared it with each other. It was a secret between us, and what's among us, will stay among us. For me, a true friend is vocal. They will tell you the things you need to know even if it's about you, whether it's something bad or something good. Friendship isn't just all about agreeing with each other, it's about telling truths even if it's hard to hear.
THE CHALLENGES OF FRIENDSHIP
No friendship stays perfect, of course, we've been through the stage of misunderstandings and growing apart. Challenges are always on their way even when time is going well.
A lot of problems came, almost sent us to the end. There is a huge misunderstanding that instantly builds a wall between us, making it hard to communicate which leads us to take different paths. We thought we would never bring it back, we would never crash the walls we own build. But after some time, our hearts find a way to reconnect, to heal and to be stronger.
Just as when we thought it was becoming better, destiny is always up to something. We faced a very unacceptable challenge we never thought would come, something that would break us for eternity. We lost a member and it hurts to realize that we can never bring it back this time. Despite this situation, we never lose hope. With that, friendship taught me it is not about never fighting or never being apart, it's about how you overcome those moments together.
Personally, I believe that a true friend is not the one who is always present but the one who remains even when you're not your best. Some friends might stay for a reason while others last for a lifetime. Certainly, friendship taught us something valuable.
Having a few real friends is better than having a hundred fake ones. It's not about who you've known the longest but who stood with your side when you needed it the most. Lastly. Friendship is not just about finding the right people, it's also about being the right person.
True friendship is rare, and if you find it, cherish it!
