
You see, I discovered that Mama made a Polvoron, this morning I thought she will make a Pancake because she bought 1/4 flour and 10 peso worth of margarine. The first thing that came to mind when I saw those was "Pancake." So, when I checked on her this afternoon, I saw a Polvoron in her those cute blue gelatin molder and so I told her what I thought, lol. She said, she wants Polvoron and she wants it as her snacks that can last for days, lol.
I tasted it when I saw it of course and oh it is so good -but it is also too sweet ʘ‿ʘ. And so, I remembered, I still have a bit of flour somewhere, I think if I will measure that leftover flour, it is just like 100 grams. I didn't really need much because it would be just an experiment and I want to make it not too sweer. I just asked Mama the needed ingredients and the process of she made years and boogsh, I started making my own version. Ehe
So here's her amazing version. She often cook this before too and made it as her after meal dessert. She always made the classic version but chocolate, pinipig, cookies and cream and more are also good and a must try. But ever since, my favorite has always been the Milky, Pinipig and Peanut flavor, especially that from Goldilocks. Hihi
Here's the close up look of Mama's Polvoron hehe. If you love sweet, This is the best choice for you. Although I like her version, but Polvoron is kinda addicting at I might not able to stop eating more of this. If its too sweet then its like i'm eating diabetes hahaha. So better to make my own version, the not so sweet one which I won't feel guilty eating it nonstop. UwU

Anyways, i've been sharing food blog more often these days, haha. That's only mean one thing, we have a spare money where we can buy what we want. So bear with me guys as I share this here. Hehe └( ^ω^)」
Now for my version, I only used 100 grams of flour here, I used two tablespoon of sugar, one tablespoon of salted margarine and 66 grams of powdered milk.
Now, let's heat the pan, put the flour and toast it in a low to medium heat until golden.
I toast the flour for 10 minutes by the way. After that I turned off the gas, and immediately put put the powdered milk and margarine. Some melted their margarine but mama said the flour is still hot so its okay to put margarine as is.
Next is mixing them all together and thoroughly. I made sure that there no more lumps in it so that eating it is so much better. But seriously, mixing and turning it is just so hard haha. My hands is too weak. Lol. But of course I didn't stop ƪ(‾.‾“)┐
This is not in the plan but I added one more ingredients. Yep, this is a last minute decision, adding crushed roasted peanut in here because WHY NOT. Haha
After more mixing, its finally done. And I think it turns out really good ♪┌|∵|┘♪. I seriously love its crunch coz of the peanut and sugar. Like, why is this so good? And why is it this so easy to make? Haha. And because of this I will make more once we consume everything. The oldies love it very much too especially Mommy F. Lol
It is quite addicting too... The CDO burger patties yes. -hahaha
Just kidding, lol - here's what's inside of it. I think we can eat this all tomorrow ƪ(‾.‾“)┐. This is my problem when eating Polvoron, its hard to stop whenever you had a taste of it.
I remember back in highchool I can eat a whole pack of Milkee Polvoron, it has 20 pieces inside -that one brand that we can just buy in a grocery store. Its actually been a long time since I last buy and eat it. I'm sure they are pricier now compare before that one pack is 16 or 18 pesos only. But I don't think I will buy that one anymore. I'd rather just cook some from now on and enjoy unlimited servings in a day with the whole family ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ
