¡Hola comunidad Hive! En esta ocasión me gustaría contarles que tengo una bebé de un año, que se llama Asami, y la elección de su nombre es el anécdota que les contaré.

Para ello tengo que irme hasta el 2022, al mes de octubre, cuando tenía unos tres o cuatro meses de embarazo aproximadamente, en esa época no sabia si mi bebé sería niño o niña, no tenía en mente ningún nombre pero si quería ir teniendo algunas ideas de los posibles nombres para no dejar eso para el último momento. Ese tema me tenía preocupada porque sentía que iba a llegar el día de que naciera y yo sin ninguna opción de nombre.

Entonces empezó el plan para buscar nombres. Una referencia importante antes de continuar es que su bisabuelo paterno era italiano entonces el primer plan era buscar nombres italianos. De allí salió Alessandra un nombre muy hermoso, pero su papá quería ponerle Lexa (por una serie que se llama los 100), duramos una semana entre Alessandra y Lexa, pero ninguno de los dos cedía.

En ese mismo tiempo estábamos viendo "Avatar, la leyenda de Korra", y había un personaje que se llamaba Asami, una mujer hermosa, inteligente, fuerte, hábil, tenía muchas cualidades positivas. Sin embargo, como a mí me dicen Samy por cariño, pensar en el nombre de Asami era un poco extraño.

Como no nos decidíamos entre Alessandra y Lexa, empezamos a buscar nombres japoneses por el gran cariño que le tenemos a los animes, y allí estaba Asami nuevamente, entonces nos fuimos hasta el significado del nombre, el cual es: "Belleza de la mañana" y en ese momento fue como "¡este es el nombre!", no teníamos dudas, queríamos que se llamara Asami.

Aún no sabíamos su sexo, pero aunque sea ya teníamos un nombre. Cuando me dijeron que era niña de una vez le empezamos a decir Asami, sin embargo estaba la duda de ¿Y si es varón? Entonces estaba el plan de tener un nombre de varón, pero llegaron las 38 semanas y nunca nos gustó ningún nombre. Asami fue el mejor nombre que pudimos elegir. Una vez ya teníamos definido el primer nombre empezamos a enviar a nuestros familiares y amigos cercanos la imagen personalizada que verán a continuación, dónde decíamos su sexo y el nombre que habíamos elegido, además, en este caso iba dirigida a una de sus tías.

Con respecto al segundo nombre, seguíamos entre Alessandra y Lexa, al final quedamos en un acuerdo de mezclar ambos nombres, lo que resultó en Lexandra. Nuestra bebé se llama Asami Lexandra, es un nombre del cual me siento muy orgullosa y feliz de haber elegido para ella. Ya para ese entonces tenía como 7 meses y quise tomarme fotos para atesorar ese momento de estar embarazada.

Actualmente, cuando menciono el nombre de Asami suelen preguntarme de dónde es, también me han dicho que suena Árabe y Chino, a veces piensan que se llama Samantha como yo y le decimos Asami por diminutivo, yo intento explicar brevemente el cómo lo elegimos porque si me parece una historia significativa para contar; algo tierno es que mi abuela le dice a ella Sami la chiquita y a mi Samy la grande.

At that same time we were watching "Avatar, the legend of Korra", and there was a character named Asami, a beautiful, intelligent, strong, skillful woman, she had many positive qualities. However, as I am affectionately called Samy, thinking of Asami's name was a bit strange.

As we couldn't decide between Alessandra and Lexa, we started looking for Japanese names because of the great affection we have for anime, and there was Asami again, then we went to the meaning of the name, which is: "Beauty of the morning" and at that moment it was like "this is the name!", we had no doubts, we wanted to name her Asami.

We still didn't know her sex, but we had a name. When I was told it was a girl all at once we started calling her Asami, however there was the question of what if it was a boy? Then there was the plan to have a boy's name, but 38 weeks came and we never liked any name. Asami was the best name we could choose. Once we had already defined the first name we started to send to our family and close friends the personalized picture you will see below, where we said his gender and the name we had chosen, also, in this case it was addressed to one of his aunts.

Regarding the middle name, we were going back and forth between Alessandra and Lexa, in the end we agreed to mix both names, which resulted in Lexandra. Our baby is named Asami Lexandra, it is a name that I am very proud and happy to have chosen for her. She was about 7 months old by then and I wanted to take pictures to treasure this moment of being pregnant.

Actually, when I mention Asami's name they usually ask me where she is from, they have also told me that it sounds Arabic and Chinese, sometimes they think her name is Samantha like me and we call her Asami by diminutive, I try to explain briefly how we chose it because it seems to me a meaningful story to tell; something tender is that my grandmother calls her Sami the little one and my Samy the big one.
