This morning, my wife and I started the day alone at home with my well-known Nescafé with extra foam and a light morning conversation, and of course celebrating 16 years of marriage.
We quickly ate something, and since the kids weren’t around, we decided to go for a coffee at a nearby café located within a shopping center, where the atmosphere is calm, quiet, and intimate, to enjoy an afternoon coffee and relax a bit.
We were thinking about going out for dinner, but unfortunately we caught a bit of a cold, so we decided to stick to just a coffee at our nearby and favorite café.
As a gift, I bought my wife a charm that says Love & Family, which is worn on a bracelet. My wife always prints photos afterward and puts them in an album, writing underneath which event it was for and which anniversary, birthday, or any other occasion. That way, our children—and we ourselves when we are older—can easily remember everything, because there are many charms on the bracelet, so it’s harder to remember which one was for which occasion.
After we got home, we made ourselves some warm tea, sank into the couch, turned on a movie, and enjoyed ourselves—and of course our cat Loky had to join us haha.
I hope we’ll recover quickly so we can go out for dinner, as we do every year, to the restaurant Gastro Italiano, which we’ve been visiting every year for the past 8 years.
I wish you a pleasant day and good health.
