As a freshman of college, it’s hard to find friends especially when you’re becoming matured. Friends are rare to find especially when you know yourself that you are not that good on pleasing anyone. I have friends outside the school, some old friends of course that stick by my side but it’s not that good when you are alone at school does it? Well, I guess it’s hard especially when you go to school every day. It’s ok to study alone, eat alone, or even go home alone but the feeling of having someone on your side while doing those are the best feeling that you’ll ever feel especially when you know it’s genuine. Maturing is realizing that friends are hard to find, they don’t have that magnetic feeling that you’ve felt when you’re a teenager, it’s a feeling that you can’t easily trust anyone that easy especially when you’ve been through some things that broke your trust when it comes to friendship. Friends are rare but I am glad I have these lovely girls that will make my college days more exciting and jolly.
This is us, Abe and Diana. They both have the same names so I prefer calling Abe by her last name, we aren’t that close on the first day of school actually because I have other set of friends but they are still my friend but we rarely bond this time in the middle of our school year. Abe and Diana are the closest friends that I have, we eat together and bond together most of the time when I don’t feel tired when I finish the class hours. They are my biggest treasure that I found on 2024, our friendship is strong and our humor really match a lot. We haven’t gotten into a fight, we maybe confront each other but we understand ourselves when it comes to sayo go truthful words even the bad ones. I love how they make me feel belong and comfortable in times that I felt I am not good at things, they make me feel that I have someone in my good times and bad times, how they care for me even on the smallest things, how they notice my bad days and how they notice when I am bothered on some things.
Abe is the listener, she always listens and talks to me when I am in need and when I am sad. She is the gullible and the socially active one, she has so many friends outside and inside the school, she’s my tiktok buddy and my sister when doing our makeups. She loves reading and always takes time to take care of herself, she’s the most confident of us three and she is the best at making all things positive even at the hardest times.
Diana is the girliest of us three, she always makes herself pretty and she’s good at matching clothes also. She’s my precious enemy when it comes to talking, she’s my little sister in school, she’s mu hard headed friend that always makes me mad when she wants something that she already knows it’s not good for her. She’s the loudest one when it comes to laughing, she’s gullible and always makes me annoyed but smile at the same time. She’s the one who I always give some advice, she’s a great listener though! She always looks up to me, and I always take care of her. She’s my precious but annoying little baby in school, she’s good at making me laugh and making me feel I belong also. She’s the kindest and the sweetest girl I know.
What we all have in common is, we’re both at the same course but the most common of us all is we understand ourselves even at the times we talk nonsense. We’re the loudest, and the most annoying people in school I believe, we always talk loudly and laugh loudly. What I like about this friendship the most is that, it really feels at home when I am beside them, the laughter and the tears we shared are the most precious and beautiful thing I will cherish forever.
