Hace unos días mi pequeña hija me preguntaba sobre la experiencia de su primer baño, esto porque leía en las redes que algunos padres inexpertos confesaban que se habían equivocado o algunas ocurrencias, pero mi respuesta fue que yo había practicado antes con sus primos y por eso aquella primera vez fue una linda experiencia.
De hecho, los sobrinos son nuestros primeros hijos, a veces son los hijos que no engendramos pero que siempre serán nuestros pequeños, en mi caso mis tres sobrinos mayores fueron escuela de cariño y de experiencias; los amo a todos, también a los que llegaron después, pero ellos tres crecieron a nuestro lado.
Esta publicación, hoy, está motivada a un gran orgullo, mi pequeño bebe como pitcher profesional en las grandes ligas de beisbol; ya es todo un hombre, pero en el seguimos mirando esa ternura de ser humano que nos evoca recordar su infancia.
El día de ayer se jugó “el juego de las estrellas” de la MLB, el #Allstargame y Pablo José fue convocado, junto a otro compañero, como pitcher de la liga Americana en representación del equipo de los Minnesota Twins. Lo que sentimos en casa fue alegría inmensa y una emoción indescriptible.
Dos días antes al enterarnos lloramos de emoción, mi mamá agradeció a Dios por tantas bendiciones y todos, en familia comenzamos a escribirnos y llamarnos para compartir la noticia. Gracias a Dios, mi sobrina mayor también está cerca y logró compartir con él todos los detalles y el viaje para acompañarlo, ellos en familia, e igualmente junto a su linda esposa.

Yesterday the MLB "All-Star Game" was played, the #Allstargame, and Pablo José was called up, along with another teammate, as a pitcher for the American League, representing the Minnesota Twins. What we felt at home was immense joy and indescribable emotion.
Two days before when we found out we cried with emotion, my mom thanked God for so many blessings and we all, as a family, began to write and call each other to share the news. Thank God, my eldest niece is also close by and was able to share the news with us.
En la antesala al juego, estuvimos atentos y cuando fue anunciado, al salir por la alfombra roja no pudimos más que hacer gritos de alegría, ya era un gran triunfo su presencia junto a los grandes de las MLB, pero las emociones no pararon, el juego estuvo bastante bien, emocionante, y aunque otros venezolanos destacados robaban nuestra atención esperábamos la intervención de Pablo.
En la novena entrada lo llamaron a la lomita de lanzamientos (me perdonan los de la comunidad #fulldeportes si no hago bien la narración :) o doy con fidelidad los detalles), el equipo de la Americana salía en desventaja, pero Pablo asumió su entrada y logró salir airoso en sus lanzamientos.
Verlo allí, justamente lanzando ante tantas personas, un día en el que se cumplían tres años de la desaparición física de su padre, fue como una respuesta del Cosmos de que sus padres siguen allí con él, con nosotros.
En casa estuvimos felices, despiertos hasta el último momento del juego, nos alegramos también por los otros chicos y en especial por el otro zuliano que recibió el máximo reconocimiento de la noche (Elías Díaz), al que por cierto Pablo también enfrento al final de su salida.
Lo cierto es, que las alegrías de la familia, los sentimientos de orgullo, las esperanzas y que mi sobrino sea hoy en día un ejemplo para otros chicos es algo que quise compartir hoy con ustedes. Gracias a mis amigas @Marybellrg y @Belkisa758 porque me han acompañado en estas alegrías.
