Es la primera vez que publico en esta hermosa comunidad, así que espero que les guste. Espero que hayan pasado una feliz navidad junto a tus seres queridos. En esta ocasión quería compartir con ustedes mi navidad en familia, contarles un poco como pasé el 24 y 25 en esta navidad, también contarles un poco los platillos que preparamos en casa y como compartimos. En primer lugar, el ambiente navideño era un poco apagado por la zona en la que vivimos, incluso a las 12 am no escuché muchos fuegos artificiales ni mucha emoción. Cuando era pequeña recuerdo que lanzaban tantos fuegos artificiales que cerraban las ventanas por tanto humo que entraba y claro, para que no entraran a la casa jaja.

On this occasion I wanted to share my family Christmas with you, tell you a little about how I spent the 24th and 25th of this Christmas, also tell you a little about the dishes we prepare at home and how we share. First of all, the Christmas atmosphere was a bit muted for the area we live in, even at 12am I didn't hear much fireworks or much excitement. When I was little I remember that they launched so many fireworks that they used to close the windows because of so much smoke that came in and of course, so they didn't get into the house haha.

La noche antes del 24, mi mamá y yo comenzamos a preparar la comida porque mi papá se emociona mucho y quiere comer todo, así que para no tener que hacer muchas cosas el 24, hacemos esto. La noche anterior preparamos pastico y probamos por primera vez hacer un panettone o pan dulce en casa. Nunca fui muy fan de este pan dulce y la verdad es que ahora es mi favorito (luego les compartiré la receta), a partir de ahora haremos este pan cada diciembre jaja. Al día siguiente preparamos el resto de acompañantes para el tradicional plato navideño en Venezuela.
The night before the 24th, my mom and I started to prepare the food because my dad gets very excited and wants to eat everything, so in order not to have to do many things on the 24th, we do this. The night before we prepared pastico and tried for the first time to make a panettone or sweet bread at home. I was never a big fan of this sweet bread and the truth is that now it is my favorite (I will share the recipe later), from now on we will make this bread every December haha. The next day we prepare the rest of the companions for the traditional Christmas dish in Venezuela.
Ese día lo pasamos mis padres, mi novio y yo en casa. Mi hermano ha estado fuera durante unos años, así que lo compartimos con él desde la distancia. Cuando era pequeño solíamos pasar la Nochebuena en casa de mi abuela por parte de mi madre, pero desde hace unos años la pasamos solo nosotros juntos en casa, disfrutando de la comida y viendo una película. Mi familia no es de tomarse fotos, así que solo tomé algunas con mi pareja y mi madre. También vienen a visitar a unos familiares por parte de padre y se van rápido, ya que vivimos cerca de ellos pero no pasamos estas fechas juntos.
That day we spent my parents, my boyfriend and I at home. My brother has been away for a few years so we shared it with him from a distance. When I was little, we used to spend Christmas Eve at my grandmother's house on my mother's side, but since a few years ago we spent it just us together at home, enjoying food and watching a movie. My family is not one to take photos, so I only took a few with my partner and my mother. They also come to visit some relatives on the father's side and leave quickly, since we live near them but we do not spend these dates together.
Desde hace 3 años mi novio comparte el 24 conmigo, lo cual me hace muy feliz, vemos una película, comemos mucho y lo pasamos muy bien. Tenemos la costumbre de darnos nuestros regalos unos días antes. luego les comparto lo que nos regalamos en casa para estas fechas. Por otro lado, por lo general a fin de año, mi pareja y yo no pasamos esa noche compartiendo juntos, ya que él lo pasa con su familia, pero aun así me invita a comer temprano ese día y pasamos nuestro tiempo íntimo y momento agradable juntos. Luego me deja en casa y se va con su familia a pasar esas fechas.
For 3 years my boyfriend shares the 24 with me, which makes me very happy, we see a movie, we eat a lot and we have a great time. We have the habit of giving each other our gifts a few days before, then I share what we give ourselves at home for these dates. On the other hand, usually at the end of the year, my partner and I don't spend time together, since he spends it with his family, but even so, he invites me to eat early that day and we spend our intimate and pleasant moment together. . Then he leaves me at home and goes with his family to spend those dates.
