Reencuentro de mi Familia Redentorista (Barquisimeto-Venezuela) | by @wbrandt [ENG-ESP]

Today my dear and dear reader friend, I come with a great joy that I want to share with all of you, this past weekend I had a church event, although it was not an event but a meeting of the Redemptorist family, well for those who are just starting is a meeting, but for me I saw people who have been walking for years in the formation and we have gone to places to work in this beautiful work of evangelizing is a reunion in its entirety.

I met many new faces, but the few people who already have time came very few, some left the country, others because they have already gone to heaven, the thing is that it was something very special and emotional because since I started on this path with this beautiful charism of announcing the abundant redemption I fell in love and that is why they are my spiritual family, because we have spent a lot of things together.

When we arrived at the pastoral center where the meeting took place, here in Barquisimeto, my wife who accompanied me because obviously we were invited as wives, we arrived and it was an immense energy because many beautiful memories came back because from there began our love story, so many meetings during so many years, once again we met with our brothers with whom we shared our missionary spirituality.

Well, when we arrived at the place we already felt that beautiful energy that I told you, several of the delegations had already arrived, such as Maracaibo, Falcon, Valencia, Caracas and San Cristobal, there are many more, but since it was the first meeting after the pandemic, and they will only attend where there are Redemptorist houses present, in our case we belong to the Redemptorist houses, In our case we belong to the delegation of Barquisimeto, although before it was of Barinas, well the truth is that we signed up to be given our credentials and a folder with the schedule of activities that would run the weekend.

We arrived to our room, we left our things and went downstairs to meet our friends, we went to the dining room and there we started to see each other and talk, there were more than 100 people, the nice thing was the atmosphere that was being lived, how all this day I had to wash the good dishes to all my team and it was great even nobody likes to wash the dishes (hahaha).

Saturday was the most intense day because of all the information that was being given to all the people that were there, among those things about our charism and where our church is going, something that I love about belonging here is that we are always updating ourselves, and looking for more ways to be active and creative in evangelization, The one who was not giving the formation was a Spanish priest who throughout these days we became very close friends, the truth is that we continued to enjoy all this, between songs and dances we were getting in tune for this meeting, between the breaks was the opportunity to talk with everyone and it was very nice to be able to chat with old friends.

Then Sunday was an incredible day, but it was almost the last day, but it was the most fun, because it was the last presentation and we would have a day to relax and it certainly was, that day in the afternoon we went for a walk to a beautiful place that is here in Barquisimeto which is the monument of the divine shepherdess the delegations had not been able to come and see them and they were amazed.

After all the walk we went to the pastoral center to rest a little and get ready for the festive night, which was a sharing between food and party, and it was with the theme of costumes, because we were about to start the carnival, my wife and I dressed as harlequins, but there were many great and fun costumes, the night was emotional because these spaces are to share our experiences in this walk of God and it is very nice to celebrate it, we danced the crazy hour and everything.

We had an incredible time, so much so that my legs hurt from dancing so much with my wife and my friends, I danced with all those women who are quite adult, but who have an incredible spirit as if they were young, the night was over and it was time to go to bed, the next day we got up early, to say goodbye to our friends was something special no one wanted to leave because we will not see each other for a while, but we knew that from one moment to another we would see each other in a mission, on the other hand, we had to clean the whole pastoral center for being hosts and leave everything as we found it.

I owe my life to this family because they are the ones who formed me, who made me the person I am today, who made me a better person and I thank them and myself for wanting to get involved in all this, and I do not regret anything.

It was a wonderful experience and I hope to repeat soon that scenario where young people and adults, along with the priests where we are all at par that there is no hierarchy that we are brothers, it was good to experience it.

Well my dear friends, I hope that this experience that I brought to all of you, know that every thing we do with love for our brothers is a gesture of peace and love that is nothing more than to show us authentic and be happy, thank you for coming this far, I will say goodbye, take care of me, see you another time, God bless you, bye.

Hola amigos de esta bella comunidad de Family & Friends les doy la bienvenida a mi blog en #Hive cada día es una oportunidad de vivir grandes momentos junto a nuestros seres queridos, es por eso que nos atrevemos a divertirnos cada día para ser feliz, deseo con todo mi corazón que te sientas muy como en este espacio de familia, espero que te encuentres muy bien dónde quiera que estés, y que todos tus planes se han realidad, eso sí con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación para alcanzarlos, así que ánimo.

Hoy mi querido y estimado amigo lector, vengo con una alegría enorme que quiero compartir con todos ustedes, este fin de semana que pasó tuve un evento de la iglesia, aunque no era un evento sino un encuentro de la familia Redentorista, bueno para los que apenas están iniciando es un encuentro, pero para mí que vi a personas que llevamos años caminando en la formación y que hemos ido a lugares para trabajar en esta bonita labor de evangelizar es un reencuentro en toda su totalidad.

Muchas caras nuevas conocí, pero las pocas personas que ya tienen tiempo vinieron muy pocos, unos se fueron del país, otros porque ya han partido al cielo, la cosa es que fue algo muy especial y emotivo porque desde que me inicie en este camino con este hermoso carisma de anunciar la abundante redención quedé enamorado y por eso ellos son mi familia espiritual, por qué hemos pasado muchas cosas juntos.

Cuando llegamos al centro pastoral que es donde fue el encuentro, aquí en Barquisimeto, mi esposa quien me acompañaba porque obviamente fuimos invitados como esposas, llegamos y fue una energía inmensa porque se vinieron muchos recuerdos bonitos porque desde allí comenzó nuestra historia de amor, tantos encuentros durante tantos años otra vez nos encontramos con nuestros hermanos con quién compartimos nuestra espiritualidad misionera.

Bueno, al llegar al lugar ya se sentía esa energía tan bonita que les dije, ya había llegado varias de las delegaciones cómo, Maracaibo, Falcon, Valencia, Caracas y San Cristóbal, son muchas más solo que como era el primer encuentro después de la pandemia, y solo asistirán dónde hay presencia de casas Redentoristas, en nuestro caso nosotros pertenecemos a la delegación de Barquisimeto, aunque antes era de la de Barinas, bueno lo cierto es que nos inscribimos para que nos dieran nuestra credencial y una carpeta con el cronograma de actividades que se ejecutaría el fin de semana.

Llegamos a la habitación que nos tocó, dejamos nuestras cosas y bajamos para encontrarnos con nuestros amigos, fuimos al comedor y allí empezamos a vernos y hablar, había más de 100 personas, lo bonito era el ambiente que se estaba viviendo, cómo todo este día me tocó lavar los platos buenos a todo mi equipo y fue genial aún a nadie le gusta lavar los platos (jajaja).

El día sábado fue el más intenso por todas la información que nos estaría dando a todas las personas que fuimos, entre esas cosas de nuestro carisma y porque dónde va nuestra iglesia, algo que me encanta de pertenecer aquí es que siempre nos estamos actualizando, y buscando más formas de ser activos y creativos en la evangelización, quien no estaba dando la formación era un sacerdote español que a lo largo de estos días nos volvimos muy amigos, lo cierto es que seguíamos disfrutando de todo esto, entre cantos y bailes nos íbamos poniendo a tono para este encuentro, entre los descansos estaba esa oportunidad de conversar con todos y fue así muy bonito poder charlas con las viejas amistades.

Luego el día domingo fue un día increíble, pero ya era casi en sí el último día, pero era el más divertido, porque era la última ponencia y tendríamos un día para relajarnos y ciertamente fue así, ese día por la tarde fuimos de paseo a un lugar hermoso que está aquí en Barquisimeto que es el monumento de la divina pastora las delegaciones no había podido venir a verlas y estaban asombrados.

Después de todo el paseo nos fuimos al centro pastoral para descansar un poco y alistarnos para la noche festiva, que era un compartir entre comida y fiesta, y era con temática de disfraces, porque estábamos por comenzar los carnavales, mi esposa y yo nos vestimos de arlequines, pero había muchos trajes geniales y divertidos, la noche fue emotiva porque estos espacios son de compartir nuestras experiencias en este caminar de Dios y es muy bonito celebrarlo, bailamos la hora loca y todo.

La pasamos increíble tanto así que me dolían las piernas de tanto bailar con mi esposa y mis amigos, saque a bailar a todas esas mujeres que son bastante adultas, pero que tiene un espíritu increíble como si estuvieran jóvenes, se terminó noche y ya era hora de irnos a la cama, al día siguiente nos levantamos temprano, para despedir a nuestros amigos fue algo especial nadie se quería ir porque no nos veremos por un tiempo, pero que sabíamos que de un momento a otro nos veríamos en una misión, por otra parte, nos tocaba la limpieza de todo el centro pastoral por ser anfitriones y dejar todo como lo encontramos.

Recibimos nuestras cosas y nos fuimos, para mí esta experiencia fue muy placentera por el hecho de encontraros como familia, por tener esa energía de esperanza, alegría y amor, le debo mi vida a esta familia porque es la que me formó, quien me hizo ser la persona que soy hoy en día, quien me hizo ser una mejor persona y eso se lo agradezco a ellos y a mí por querer involucrarme en todo esto, y no me arrepiento de nada.

Fue una experiencia maravillosa y espero que se repita pronto ese escenario donde los jóvenes y los adultos, junto con los sacerdotes dónde todos estamos a la par que no hay jerarquía que somos hermanos, fue bueno experimentarlo.

Bueno mis queridos amigos, espero que esta experiencia que les traje a todos ustedes, sepan que cada cosa que hagamos con amor para nuestros hermanos es un gesto de paz y amor que no es más que mostrarnos auténticos y ser felices gracias por llegar hasta aquí, por acá me voy despidiendo, se me cuidan, nos vemos en otra oportunidad, Dios me los bendiga, chao.
