Holy Week began in my country and with it many people celebrate the devotion to God for the death and resurrection this morning we went first to church as every Sunday to worship and praise our God and thank him for all his goodness that we have received constantly throughout the week, I really enjoyed the service and especially the girls who were dancing, it makes me laugh because they were very focused on their dance and some were from one side to the other.
When I left the church I went to look for my father-in-law with my children, my husband had cooked a delicious soup to eat as a family, family unity is very important, when we arrived home the soup was ready so we served lunch, my father-in-law was happy because he does not leave his house much and we see him from time to time, at least I do when we visit him.
According to the old times it was not allowed to eat meat during Holy Week, however from a few years ago people eat what they can, before they ate only fish and in many places they sell dried fish, in this time people usually abuse with the price of it although they still sell a lot, we eat what we can if there is fish we eat fish if not meat or chicken, whatever we can, I do not know where they got that of only fish, I remember that when I was little it was like that, then when I grew up my mother did not pay attention to that.
Talking with my father-in-law at lunch he also had that tradition that was lost over the years, I remember that they said that if you ate meat you could die, or that you were going to become an animal, I know so many things that were lies, many of these traditions were invented by a person and everyone believed them, the good thing is that no one does anything about those doctrines that were lies, like many others.
We had a great lunch with the family and we also talked on the phone with some fierce relatives of the country to catch up on everything, the family is the greatest treasure we have on earth, so we must take care of it.
