Hello adventure lovers, today I want to share with you this beautiful mountain, which is known as in Volcan del Hatillo a place to live the joy of being in the middle of the nature that surrounds us.
The Hatillo Volcano, it is not really a volcano, in Venezuela there are no volcanoes but it was popularly called this way, this hill is located in Miranda state between the municipalities of Baruta and Hatillo, being part of the border of both.
But it is known as the Volcano of Hatillo, since Hatillo is the one that has a very active movement in hiking, cycling and motocross and it was part of these groups that gave this hiking route. In the case of the Volcano the bikers have always been very active and even a little more than the hikers and thanks to the pandemic it became more popular, which has made the mountain more active for hiking.
I am a faithful lover of activities in the middle of nature and hiking is one of them, there are always new trails and surprises in them, you can live great adventure and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us, it is an activity in which you go at your own pace and you challenge yourself to overcome our own limits.
The humid climate of the cloud forest is the one that predominates here in El Hatillo, it usually dawns with rain and there is a lot of haze, we started our tour at 10 am and there are photos of an hour later when we were on our way back and it looks just as cloudy.
Its original vegetation is really beautiful, full of ferns, bushes and trees typical of the area, but this area is not part of the protected areas of the state, these are private lands that are used in a public way and unfortunately there are always visitors of low conscience that leave disasters in their path and several times the Volcano has suffered from burning.
In one of the burns that suffered several years ago with good intentions users planted these pines that are very nice but were not really the trees that should be planted there, introduction of these trees caused part of the population of sloths migrate to other areas displacing them from their home, sometimes not enough only good intentions to plant a tree should respect the existing biodiversity and thus not intervene with the nature that is there.
The route is really beautiful the view the weather and that humidity that I love the route is of intermediate difficulty in a stage and another gets a little more difficult, there are steep areas that not everyone can climb and other easier climbs to get up today a flatter path.
I like the Volcano as a route to enjoy hiking and enjoy nature, the other thing I love about hiking is that the goal is set by you and as a nature lover every place you explore makes you want to visit it again because every day is different, every moment is different, in terms of physical conditions, weather and nature itself, this time we ran into a beautiful young hawk and some lizards, but every hike is a real encounter with beauty itself.
From the Volcano you have a beautiful view of the city of Caracas, this city full of greenery that makes it even more beautiful and livable despite its chaos of capital city, where in the background you can see the WarairaRepano or Cerro el Avila.
Hiking is a very rewarding activity, walking and admiring nature is life !!!
El Senderismo es Vida | El Volcán del Hatillo E🏞️NG|ESP
Hola amantes de las aventuras, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes esta hermosa montaña, que es conocida como en Volcán del Hatillo un lugar para vivir la alegría de estar en medio de la naturaleza que nos rodea.
El Volcán del Hatillo, realmente no es un Volcán, en Venezuela no hay volcanes pero fue popularmente llamado de esta manera, este cerro se encuentra en el estado Miranda entre los municipios Baruta y el Hatillo, siendo parte de la frontera de ambos.
Pero es conocido como el Volcán del Hatillo , ya que el Hatillo es el tiene un movimiento muy activo en senderismo, ciclismo y motocroos y fueron parte de estos grupos los que le dieron a esta ruta de senderismo. En el caso del Volcán los ciclistas siempre han sido muy activos y incluso un poco mas que los senderistas y gracias a la pandemia se hizo mas popular, lo que a hecho mas activa la montaña para el senderismo.
Yo soy una fiel amante las actividades en medio de la naturaleza y el senderismo una de ellas, siempre hay nuevas rutas caminos y sorpresas en ellas, puedes vivir gran aventura y disfrutar la belleza que nos rodea , es una actividad en la que vas a tu ritmo y te retas a ti mismo a vencer nuestro propios limites.
El clima humedo de bosque nublado es el del El Hatillo predomina aquí, normalmente amanece con lluvia y hay mucha nebrina , nuestro recorrido lo iniciamos a las 10 am y hay fotos de una hora mas tarde cuando estabamos de regreso y se ve igual de nublado.
Su vegetación original es realmente hermosa esta llena de helechos arbustos y arboles propios de la zona, pero esta zona no es parte de las areas protegidas del estado , estos son terrenos privados que son usados de manera publica y desafortunadamente siembre hay visitantes de baja conciencia que dejan desastres a su paso y varia veces el Volcán a sufrido de quemas.
En una de las quemas que sufrió hace varios años con buena intención usurios sembraron estos pinos que se muy lindos pero no eran realmente los arboles que se debían sembrar allí, introducción estos arboles ocasiono que parte de la población de perezas migraran a otra zonas desplazandolas de su hogar, a veces no bastan solo las buenas intenciones para sembrar algún árbol se debe respetar la biodiversidad existente y así no intervenir con la naturaleza que allí se encuentra.
El recorrido es realmente hermoso la vista el clima y ese humedad que me encanta el recorrido es de dificultar intermedia en una etapa y otra se pone un poco mas dificil , hay zonas empinadas que no todos pueden escalar y otras subidas mas faciles al llegar arriba hoy una camineria mas plana.
Me gusta el Volcán como ruta para placticar el senderismo y gozar de la naturaleza, lo otro que me encanta del senderismo es que la meta te la pones tu y como amante de la naturaleza cada lugar que exploras te da ganas de visitarlo nuevamente porque cada día es diferente, cada momento es distinto, en cuanto acondiciones fisicas , el clima y la naturaleza misma , esta ves nos topamos con un hermoso gavilán joven y algunas lagartijas , pero cada caminata es un encuentro real con es la belleza en si misma.
Desde el Volcán se tiene una hermosa vista de la Ciudad de Caracas de esta ciudad llena de verdor que la hace aun mas hermosa y habitable a pesar de su caos de ciudad capital, donde al fondo se observa el WarairaRepano o Cerro el Avila.
El senderismo es un actividad muy gratificante, caminar y admirar la naturaleza es vida!!
