Her name, Nefertiti, means "a beautiful woman has come". She turned to greet the evening light as it filtered through the veil that covered the silk draperies. Her most trusted lady stood waiting. Excitement filled the air as she anticipated Nefertiti's wedding. The highest position a female could hope to achieve in Ancient Egypt, she would become the Royal Wife.
During the 14th century of Ancient Egypt, King Akhenaten was proud to call her his queen. A strong woman loved by many, she possessed not only beauty, but also wisdom and a keen leadership ability. She's one of the most recognized queens of Ancient Egypt.
However, little is known of her childhood or parentage. Only speculation still exists with clues of the individuals surrounding her.
She wore many hats as several titles were bestowed upon her. The most famous is that of a fertility goddess. Her beauty and power spread across nations as she was called, "Lady of Two Lands"; "Lady of All women"; and "Mistress of Upper & Lower Egypt".
During their reign, they transformed Egypt. It became one of the most prosperous periods in the country's history. For forty years, they influenced religion and the arts.
But Nefertiti gained worldwide modern fame for her head bust. Its design is attributed to the sculptor, Thutmose. 1
Never was a work so celebrated and copied as a magnificent piece of art.
I dedicate my personal interpretation of her and her jewel accessories.
To create my version Queen Nefertiti in this project, I wanted to highlight one of my pure fractals. I created it in Apophysis 7X, a fractal rendering program. The fractal resembles an elaborate shield. Perhaps a piece of elegant jewelry or medallion such as was worn during the times of Ancient Egypt.
Her famous head bust, I utilized Wombo Dream, together with an inspiring image as the focus.
Below are my steps:
Text input:
waterfall over mountain with dark clouds in sky.
The original image is a beautiful photo of Queen Nefertifi's bust.
Result:
What an ethereal and surreal replication.
Below are other fractals I included to represent some of her magnificent jewelry in her collection.
Next, utilizing Canva, I was able to blend the generative art and my pure fractals. In this project, I utilized the dream as a background on the right hand side of the project image.
Here is the final version:
Thanks for taking the time to view my post. I hope you like my fractal and generative art project.
Happy rest of the week everyone with whatever your endeavors.
