The idea for My Life In Color - Highlighting the Color For the Day evolved from a challenge based on colors assigned to each day that was the concept of a former Hive member. I decided to create my own version. It's not a challenge; just sharing many of my personal photos and digital drawing images in my collection.
With that said, today is Thursday. I'll be sharing all colors of the spectrum that's Red and Brown. My choice of colors are found in my color chart below in which I assigned a different day of the week with a particular color or color blend.
I've read numerous times how colors affect our lives and how we navigate toward certain hues due to perception. This has been done for thousands of years. In different societies, an array of colors are adapted for specific customs.
According to colorpsychology, Red is one of the fascinating colors that uncover various symbolisms, meanings, and associations. It is usually linked to human's strong emotions, such as love, desire, and anger. Red is a color that people that notice due to its vibrant hues.
On the color scale, Red is a primary color. It represents warmth, passion, and sexuality. However, due its boldness, it represents danger, violence, and aggression. Red sits between violet and orange on the color wheel. Similar colors are rose red and red-orange.
Red is the first color that humans mastered, fabricated, reproduced, and diluted into different shades. During the pre-historic age, this color one of the earliest used by artists. 1
Red was used as different symbols during different time period. For insance, it had a religious significance during the Middle Ages. It was used as the symbol for good in the Christian context; then used to represent evil as of the fires of Hell. In the Renaissance period, red colors were supposed to highlight the most influential figures in paintings. 1
However, during the 19th century, red became the color of a new political and social movement, such as socialism. It was also during this time that the color was used to create specific emotions in art instead of just imitating nature. 1
When I think of the color Red and Brown in my daily life, I love both. From decorating to fashion, an abundance of these colors can be found in my home, especially my wardrobe.
I'd be pleased if you would view my images for today.

Stable Diffusion
When we talk about generative art, other types of programs I utilize deal with Stable Diffusion. I recently discovered this type of software and have been producing beautiful art mages. Stable Diffusion software utilized text prompt to produce images. One of the programs I use is Night Cafe. For example, with the image below, here is the process I used:
Text Prompt:
"Beautiful misty mountain landscape with an assortment of blue flowers and vines partially surrounding it."
Result:
I feel that the diffusion software captured my thoughts.
Nvidia Gaugan
Nvidia Gaugan is a generative art program. On a blank canvas, you can draw landscapes in any form. Elements such as mountains, clouds, sky, hills, water, and trees can be produced with the tools provided. Drawing people and structures, such as buildings is a bit difficult. With the upgraded version, I can now utilize text prompts.
