My Life In Color on Red/Brown/Yellow/Gold/Green Fall Thanksgiving Weekend (11/24-27, 2022) | HIGHLIGHTING THE COLOR FOR THE DAY

The idea for My Life In Color - Highlighting the Color For the Day evolved from a challenge based on colors assigned to each day that was the concept of a former Hive member. I decided to create my own version. It's not a challenge; just sharing many of my personal photos and digital drawing images in my collection.

With that said, today is Thanksgiving Day and the extension into the weekend, 2022. This week will be my special Thanksgiving Day and Weekend edition that encompasses numerous other Fall colors for my Color For The Day. The Fall holiday season is one of giving thanks, traveling to visit family, and lots of good holiday food, fun and laughter.

I've seen news reports that state the Thanksgiving week is the busiest travel time as millions are on the roads. So please take care and safe travels to every one. I'll be celebrating the weekend with my family, so for those who celebrate, I wish you a happy holiday also.

Fall is my most favorite season. The colors that create the landscape stir the imagination in art and literature.

Today, I'll be sharing all colors in my inventory of the spectrum that represent all the shades of Fall. My choice of colors are found in my color chart below in which I assigned a different day of the week with a particular color or color blend.

I've read numerous times how colors affect our lives and how we navigate toward certain hues due to perception. This has been done for thousands of years. In different societies, an array of colors are adapted for specific customs.

According to colorpsychology, color is vital to our human experience. Through color, we can feel, communicate, promote ideas and products, provoke emotions, inspire reactions, and change modes of thinking, increase productivity, and provide wellness and well being. In other words, color has a vital impact on how we live out our lives and see the around us.

Knowing the personality and psychological effects of the different colors, including their various shades is essential. ¹

When I think of the different colors in my own daily life, I tend to lean more to the dark and dramatic schemes on the color wheel. Black, dark blue, crimson, dark green, dark brown are my color choices for wardrobe and various designs. However, when it comes to art, I love a variety of colors as long as one of my dramatic hues above are present.

When we talk about generative art, other types of program I utilize deal with Stable Diffusion. I recently discovered this type of software and have been producing beautiful art mages. Stable Diffusion software utilized text prompt to produce images.

Nvidia Gaugan

Nvidia Gaugan is a generative art program. On a blank canvas, you can draw beautiful landscapes in any form you wish. Elements such as water, sky, trees, clouds, and mountains can be produced with the tools provided. With the upgraded version, can now utilize text prompts.

Isn't this just a beautiful sunset. The valley of trees in the Fall showcases it's colors for the brown and red landscape.

I absolutely love this drawing. Although not specifically showing Fall colors, it does portray the storms that can arise late in our Fall during the end of Hurricane season, which is November 30th. I can see fishermen in their boat trying to haul in their catch for the day. They must hurry as dark clouds are gathering. A storm is on the way.

Apophysis is a software that produces fractal art by rendering its iterations. The resulting art is some of the most ethereal and beautiful to behold. It can be interpreted differently by each individual.

Bomomo is an online drawing software that produces abstract art. The unique drawing tools provide a set of specific patterns with varying colors. You can create images in numerous dimensions, such circles, diagrams, hexagons, and other unique patterns.
