Hi Guys!!!
Sometimes I spend some hours at the middle of the night to get the best out of my time editing pictures on my Laptop
Well, since I got my new PC, I have been dedicating some reasonable time, and I make sure I relish every moment I spend on my Laptop editing. This week, I made it mandatory for me to work on pictures and get some challenging pictures I can work with. During my self-upgrade, I got a way to improve myself using phone's pictures to edit on PHOTOSHOP. Though, it's not advisable; and it's unprofessional in some particular location especially in my area to use a mobile phone for PHOTOSHOOT.
Some phone's pictures got lot of deficiency of Megapixels which cannot override a good professional Camera... Although I haven't got a Camera yet, I know one day, I will surely own one. Getting a Camera is somehow expensive. I saw a decent Camera last time, which worth ₦250000 ($645.16). Without doubt, the higher the price of a Camera, the better the image quality and sharper the objects captured. The one I saw has a befitting LENS though.
This is my sheer experience on how I made this IMAGE look better and appealing on ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 2019, but it's not too perfect though. Shot this image on InfinIx S4, it has a low Megapixel unlike Samsung's phones with snapdragon, but at least I was able to make the image more appealing
This is the Image shot on Infinix S4, just made the image look nice, shaper, and color-graded to make the skin tone look much better than before
The raw Picture before editing
And after it got edited
Here are Steps on how I went about the Image
:
(Note each adjustment made on image needs its own Layer)
Step one:
CROP SIZING — I brought the image into PHOTOSHOP, and resize it by cropping it to Instagram size which is 4 : 5 (8: 10)
Step two:
IMAGE ADJUSTMENTS — I went to option suggestions and hit on IMAGE SIZE to change the Image quality mode, pixel, and resolution. Initially, the resolution wasn't too high, it was in in 72 pixels before changing it to 600 (resolution). I also created another LAYER , and went ahead to the CAMERA RAW on Filter to sharpen and reduce the noise on the image.
Step three:
REMOVING BLEMISHES, SPOT AND WRINKLES —
I created a Layer of the background, and removed unwanted wrinkles, spots and blemishes by using SPOT HEALING BRUSH TOOL to remove marks and blemishes, and PATCH TOOL for replacement of selected areas. This tools are on the left side of the Photoshop
Step four:
_COLOR-GRADING_ — Adjustments Layers has multi-purpose features, and are packed with color features, modes and all. I embraced Selective Color, Color Balance and Photo Filter for color adjustments and skin tone
Step five:
WHITENING EYES AND TEETH — I created another Layer to whiten the Teeth and Eyes. I had to selected the areas, and feathered it by 3 precisely, and desaturated the colors (Red & yellow). I also gave them a little brighteness
Step six:
I darkened the eyebrows by using Curve Layer and inverted by using control I to make the white hides, and black reveals in the Layer mask, and started painting with soft brush.
I did the same steps for the second Image here too.
This the raw Picture before
And this is the After
The difference is not really much though, I only blurred the background using the Quick Selection Tool to make selections by finding and following the edges of the image.
The sweetness thereof is just made the main subject standing out, and appearance of the color tone is really amazing
