It's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're doing well and having a great day. I am glad to be here today in this amazing platform and I will like to share with you how words can kill your dreams.
Dreams can simply be refer to as those ambitions your really cherished so much. And words can also be refer to as something spoken or written.
If you look at the title of this post which says "Mere words can kill your dreams". Actually I just used mere to catch your attention because I believe each and every words either spoken or written is not merely because each words has it meaningful message and possess a powerful command as well and that's why we have to be careful of the words we used for each other and as parents, we have to be very careful in this aspect.
I believe right from our childhood, we all have one or two dreams we really aspired so much and we also have those mentors we look up to but due to some situation we are not able to reach our dreams because of the words we heard either from your parents, advice from someone or your friends and family opinion or from yourself and this has happened to many individuals and actually killed their dreams.
I knew one of my childhood friends who happens to always talk about becoming a doctor in the future but his dreams was killed because of the words from his parents. Due to his poor performance in the school, his parents talked him down instead of encouraging him and look in to the reason why he is like that.
Childhood is one of a crucial moment in our lives and during that period as a child we believe we can become anything we want but due to the words we heard this killed our morals to pursue the dreams and we eventually give up because we thought we heard is actually the fact.
Looking at the world presently, I discovered that some of the people that are wealthy is not because of their education or their results from school but it is because the purse their dreams and they don't let mere words distract them no matter what because words is a distraction itself if care is not taken.
Words is so powerful that it can start a war and it can bring peace to the world. Some parents killed their children dreams with words because their children has promised to build them a castle and buy them a car but they think the time is going already and they discouraged them children with words like "Are sure you can still do this" , "Is better you put your mind away from that your silly childhood dreams" and so many words like that and this eventually killed their dreams.
As a parents, I implore you to be the real motivator behind your children dreams and speak positive words that will encourage them to keep going until they achieve their dreams and do away with those negative words like " I don't think you can" because this majorly killed their dreams.
Words is very powerful and it is very important for us to know to handle each situation because words can make and break at the same time.
