La Navidad llegó a mi hogar con la sencillez y el calor de la familia. Días antes, un ejército de manos amorosas mamá, papá, tía, hermanas y yo nos unimos en una dulce tarea: la elaboración de 120 exquisitas hallacas. Desde las seis de la tarde hasta las dos de la madrugada del 22, risas y aromas envolvieron nuestra cocina. El 23, mamá pulió los detalles, dejando todo listo para una cena inolvidable. Mis hermanas y yo, con la impaciencia a flor de piel, aguardamos pacientemente el momento de la gran degustación. Finalmente, llegó la noche del 24. Rodeados de nuestros seres queridos, compartimos una cena deliciosa, el sabor de la tradición en cada bocado. Después, desde el umbral de casa, contemplamos la alegría infantil y el fulgor de los fuegos artificiales, un espectáculo mágico que iluminó la noche. Este año, la Navidad fue especialmente tranquila, un descanso reparador en comparación con años anteriores.
