In the Old Testament, when man sinned the first thing they did was they built an altar and applied blood sacrifices for atonement of soul. Without shedding blood of animals, there was no forgiveness.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Leviticus 17:11
Applying this blood of animals during the Old Testament was a symbol of prophetic lambs that represents sacrifices of the blood of Jesus Christ in the New Testament
The process and instruction of sacrifices In the Old Testament
According to the law, there was a clear process and instruction of sacrifices. The bible teaches us in the book of Hebrew that;
For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Hebrew 9:20
How you apply the Blood of the Lamb in the New Testament
The New Testament, The blood of Jesus has all the cleansing power; it is sufficient enough to clean us from all sin. Now the blood is in the Basin and it is ready for you.
What you need to do is, to get in to the blood of Jesus out of the basin to the place where you live (into the situation of your life). In the book of revelation, the bible tells us;
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:11
Therefore, by the testimony, transfer the blood of Jesus from the basin into your every single situation of your life. Your Personal Testimony is The Hyssop of The New Covenant so that apply the blood by saying what the word of God says about the blood of Jesus.
- Through the blood of Jesus I am redeemed from the hands of devil
- Through the blood of Jesus all my sin are forgiven.
- Through the blood of Jesus I am justified
- Through the blood of Jesus I am sanctified (made holly); setup pop to God
