Being a father is a joy that abounds in the heart of the love and joy of the Lord. When the son utters his first words, both the father and the mother, just wait for the child to mention them first. It is a sweet competition of joy that fills the home with much happiness and love. The father wants to celebrate the birth of his first child in a big way and then he wants the son to be like him, imitating him in everything. At least, this is what happened to me.
In this message I want to share with all the parents of the HeartChurch community a few short words in a poem that contains a significant message.
Happy Father's Day!
The smile on your face with the sweet passion of being a father.
Today you see yourself hoping to overcome nostalgia for problems,
You know very well your responsibility as a parent and
You know you can't neglect it.
You look at the faces of your little children and
You wrap them in your arms with effort and sweat.
As a parent you understand that reality is not easy and even so, you do not stop trying to prove that you are a parent who loves his family.
When you left your workday, you went home and watched your wife and children sleeping.
You lie down next to them and kiss them on the forehead without realizing it.
With a tear in your eyes you understand that today's bread was not easy to get, but despite everything, you did it with great honor.
You look innocently at your loved ones in bed and decide to lie down next to them. When the clock rings at five in the morning, you wake up quickly, because a new day of work awaits you.
Time has passed and you have not noticed that your hair turned white and now you look like an old man.
The children grew up and became men and women, and you look at it now, surrounded by other beautiful children.
Now you are an old man with many grandchildren who adorn your face with smile and joy.
The old man, now a very experienced father, is surrounded by grandchildren and branches of descendants.
For all HeartChurch parents, the honor of loving and growing is a dream.
The blessings of God be your crown on this day and the light of the face of the Most High illuminates your eyes to see multitudes of your descendants. Happy Father's Day!
1 Jehovah visited Sarah, as he had said, and Jehovah did to Sarah as he had spoken. 2 And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the time God had told him.
Genesis 21: 1-2 New King James Version (RVR1960)
When God finally fulfilled to Abraham the promise of the birth of Isaac, Abraham was already old and his wife Sarah in the same way, however, the happiness that Abraham felt no one can describe, was something impossible humanly, but God had changed for always Abraham's inner sadness, because Sarah was sterile and God brought to Abraham's life an immense happiness with the birth of his son Isaac.
If Abraham had to celebrate Father's Day today, can you imagine, reader friend, how many cattle would Abraham have sent to kill to celebrate Father's Day, but you and I, we rejoice because our crown and joy comes from the Lord, even if we don't have In these moments the economic conditions to celebrate it in a big way, we are sure and confident that the Lord encourages us to be good parents every day.
In the Gospel of Luke we find another similar story, it is about Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth, who was sterile. However, God sent an angel to Zacharias indicating that his prayers had been heard by the Lord and that his wife Elizabeth would give him a son. Zacarias's reaction was surprisingly hesitant, because both he and Elizabeth were old and Elizabeth was sterile. The angel rebuked Zechariah's unbelief and told him that he would be mute until the day of the birth of his son.
23 And when the days of his ministry were over, he went home. 24 After those days his wife Elizabeth conceived, and secluded herself in the house for five months, saying, 25 Thus has the Lord done to me in the days when he deigned to take away my affront among men.
Luke 1: 21-38 New King James Version (RVR1960)
When Elizabeth conceived her son Juan, Zacarías's joy was great and immense, there he understood that for God nothing is impossible. That same day, God made Zacharias' tongue come off his palate and he could speak to celebrate that wonderful day of being a father.
Both Abraham and Zacharias went through the same experience of being parents in advanced age having a wife who were sterile.
To all the parents of the blockchain, let's celebrate this wonderful day regardless of the limitations that we may have in different areas of our lives, the important thing is that we serve a God that for Him nothing is impossible.
Have everyone a Happy Father's Day!
