Surely the same thing that has been happening to me, regarding my faith, has been happening to you. I have been contemplating all the unfortunate events that are taking place in the world in relation to the humanitarian crisis, the economic crisis, unemployment, the closure of companies, hunger everywhere, many people frightened by the spread of the disease "Covid- 19 ", and everything is painted as a dark image, it seems that faith is minimized and you lose control of your emotional and spiritual life.
Everything looks so dark, it seems that your dreams and the promises that God has made to you, will no longer be fulfilled due to all the discouraging things that exist on the world scene and that negatively impact your personal, family and spiritual life.
Our faith is overshadowed by the things we are seeing happening every second and minute in our lives. However, we seek encouragement in the word of God and find excellent advice in the book of Hebrews:
Faith, then, is the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of what is not seen.
Hebrews 11: 1 King James Version (RVR1960)
Faith is not related to what we see, but to what we do not see. Faith is associated with the certainty and confidence of receiving what we cannot see.
Surely we are not seeing what God is doing in these moments of complexity in the world, but we must be convinced that he is doing something for his people. The Lord has taught us that all things work together for good. When God says that "all things" are all things, without exception. In this sense, dear friend, however distressed we may be with the unfortunate things that are happening in the world, we must be sure that from all this bitter drink, God will bring good and glorious things for Christians. We cannot fall into the field of despair, although it sounds easy to say, we must trust our God, who at the end of the tunnel will show us his admirable light. This leads us to not tire of believing, the Lord Jesus said:
If you can believe, everything is possible for those who believe. Mark 9:23 King James Version (RVR1960)
This leads us to trust more in our God and not stop believing in the promises that God has made to us in the different areas of our lives, be it in health, economy, family, work, study, church, ect.
Let us not forget that we cannot tire of believing because he who endures to the end will see the glorious manifestation of the blessings of our God.
