John 10:5; A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.
Lots of us have heard it at one point in time in our lives how careful we ought to be with strangers in accommodating them and dealing with them. Whiles accommodating strangers have brought some good to people in some times and even bestowed blessings upon them for helping angels many have also suffered from helping others with bad intentions causing things to end badly. In our Christian life there are strangers too, and these tend to be the devil and his minions, we say they are strangers because we are not familiar with them because we do not deal with them neither do we associate with them. But the Devil is cunning and deceitful and find ways and means to masquerade as the light to draw people evil and destroy lives.
So what is the way forward, what should we do as Christians that we may be able to see through the devils camouflage and avoid falling into temptation. Christ said my sheep knows my voice and the sound that i make, when we gain the Spirit of discernment we are able to discriminate between the voice of the familiar and that of the stranger, we able to be on guard and the Holy leads us in the path of light and righteousness. Beloved today the message is to be wary of the stranger lurking in the shadows hoping to deceive you, pray to God for the Spirit of discernment, Pray that you would be able to hear the voice of God that you may be able to discriminate between the Good Shepherd and the Wolf in the Sheep Skin. May the God Lord Be with you. Have a wonderful Day.
