We are called to dominate the world, not to be dominated by the world. Every Child of God is called to be an overcomer.
Circumstances shouldn’t dictate how we live. Philippians 4:12 reads “I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I'm trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or hunger[TPT]”.
Apostle Paul wasn’t controlled by the happenings because he was aware that he has the power to overcome.
If you must live life as an overcome, you need to know who you are in Christ, the place of the Holy Spirit, and the daily intercessions of Christ for you.
1 John 4:4 “Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind].[AMP]”
The power to overcome comes from Jesus' daily intercessions for us(Hebrews 7:25)
ACTION POINT
Quit being reactive to everything life throws at you. Be rest assured that you have a great intercessor who gives you victory over storms.
PRAYER
Say this with faith “I am more than a conqueror through Him that loved me and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Amen
