A song writer wrote;
Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.
This writer is telling us that the only way we can be happy is to trust and obey God, he said God because only in Him should our trust be put not on man because they are bound to fail us.
Anyone who put his trust in people is bound to get disappointed.Because we humans, are unpredictable and most times when people promise something, they do it to make us happy but at times, certain situations may make it impossible for such a person.
Another reason we are meant to trust him alone is that a lot of people are not really who they portray themselves to be. They come to you looking too filled with the Holy Spirit like they can't even harm a fly but on the inside they are great pretenders who have gotten award in there pretending skills. They come like they want to help you but inside, they are laughing and making a mockery of you and your situation. No one should our trust be fixed on except God.

Don't put your confidence in man for they fail but Jesus never fails. Vs. 8
A song writer wrote;
What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bear, what a priviledge to carry, everything to God in prayer. Oh what peace we often forfeit, oh what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry, everything to God in prayer.
He went on to say, can we find a friend so faithful? Who will all our sorrows share? He said "In His arms He'll take and shield thee, thou wilt find a solace there.
Only in God can we find a friend who is so faithful and never betrays us.
****JEREMIAH 17:5
This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. Vs. 5
say any man that trust in man, curseth be that man. Our God is a jealous God and does not want us to trust in man for they are mere flesh.
Our hope or trust shouldn't be on man for they change and may disappoint us but God never changes neither does He disappoint.
Let us learn to Trust in Him and in His word for He will deliver us from all our troubles and victory will be ours.
