A CHRISTIAN IDENTITY
Identity is that distinguishing factor that differentiates one person from the other. Our Christian identity is that distinguishing factor that differentiate us from the world.
ROMANS 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Vs. 2
When we say we are differentiated from the rest of the world, this translates to the fact that our value systems and the attribute that form our identity are not gotten from the world
The Christian identity is one that is founded on the word. The world is not what determines us as a Christian, but it is the word for as we are Christ like, Jesus Christ is the word.
