TEXT: Daniel chapter 3
The definition of "FURNACE" According to the English Dictionary:
1: A device for heating
2: A device that heats materials being processed in a factory
3: A device that provides heat for a building
4: Any area that is excessively hot
In my own definition, "FURNACE" may also be defined as: hard life, problems, sorrows, situations, conditions, circumstances, bitterness, poverty, frustrations and mockery etc.
You may be passing through hard times, difficulties and troubles, sometimes you begin to wonder why God created you, people commit suicide and do all manner of things.
Today, God is saying you shouldn't worry, he's saying you shouldn't be afraid, joy comes in the morning, troubles and conditions they don't last, he's saying you can still make it, you can still finish strong, you can still stand out no matter what may come your way, your life is in God's hand.
God says in his word that "he knows the plan he has towards you, a taught of good and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
A case study I would want to use in the Bible is" SHADRACH, MESHACH AND ABEDNEGO (Daniel chapter 3).
King Nebuchandzzar constructed an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its breadth six cubits. He set it up on the evidence of Dura, in the territory of Babylon. Then he ordered that everybody should come for the consecration of the image he builed, so they all came and stood before it.
After that, the messenger loudly announced that immediately they perceive a sound of a horn and other musical instruments, they must fall down and adore the golden image, And whoever does not fall down to worship shall instantly be thrown into a burning fiery furnace.
Hence, as soon as they heard the sound of a horn and all kinds of music, all the territories and people of every language fell down and worshiped the golden image.
There after, some astrologers went and reported to the king that three Hebrew children rejected to worship his image, so he summoned them and they were brought before the king.
But they still declined to worship the Kings image, suddenly, the king got angry and ordered the furnace to be heated for seven times, then he urgently asked some of his strongest soldiers to cast them into the furnace.
The furnace was overheated, the flame of the fire killed those men who took Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. But God showed up for them as "the fourth man in the furnace", the king was surprised when he saw four men, for that, he called them out and discovered that nothing happened to them, then he gave thanks to God of "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego", they all repented and the king declared that there is no other God to rescue except the God of the three Hebrew children.
Therefore, all the nations should serve their God and immediately, the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
CONCLUSION:
God rescued the three Hebrew children, he showed up for them as "the fourth man in the furnace", he delivered them, and because of that, they were promoted, because of that, King Nebuchandezzar and all the nations of Babylon repented and gave thanks to the God that can rescue, deliver, and set free.
You can still make it despite what you've been through, that situation you are facing will soon be over.
God is about to turn your morning into dancing, he is about to turn your sorrow into joy, he is about to rescue, loose, deliver and set you free that people will repent and give thanks to him.
I see the fourth man in the fire, fighting for you, he will show up as the "fourth man in your problems, conditions, situations, circumstances, sorrows in Jesus name" Amen"
"DON'T GIVE UP, THE BATTLE MAY NOT BE LONG, IT WILL SOON BE OVER".
