18 “And I, because of what they have planned and done, am about to come[a] and gather the people of all nations and languages, and they will come and see my glory.
.
19 “I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who survive to the nations—to Tarshish, to the Libyans[b] and Lydians (famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
The daily study and meditation of the word of God gives us the spiritual food we need to understand the humanly inexplicable events that occur around us.
Thus the prophet Isaias in these verses gives me the certainty that all the peoples of the earth with different languages, races or beliefs together will see and praise God since he will be manifested with the power of His love.
Today we live moments in which all the peoples of the land of different languages or beliefs are being besieged by a pandemic that is beyond their understanding, so the way we have left is to put ourselves in the presence of the Lord and give thanks to Him for His mercy to us.
We must put aside our selfishness, think about the other and pray to God for the healing of those affected and give comfort to those who have lost loved ones. I ask it in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
Amen
