Focal passage:- Genesis 7:1-24
He was an age man, yet he knew who God was. He loved God least he wouldn't have obeyed him.
A time came where sin was at it peak and the creator of the universe repented from making man, in shot the creator regretted creating man. But amidst all this happenings this old man was found the best, he was bound of all the sins committed and so the creator got interested in him.
The creator told him that due to the numerous sins committed that he was going to destroy the universe, but yet spare his home.
This mans name was Noah.
The creator which is God ask him to build an ark, he told him the specification of the building, and without much argument Noah started building according to God's specification.
While building Noah also went ahead to inform the people of the land about God's wrath and his plan to destroy the earth with water. But yet none believed him, they all thought that he was hallucinating.
He kept persuading them but the were of a reprobate mind.
So after the building of the ark he parked in all the animals in pairs that make and female. After packing all the animals needed to be in the ark, and entering into it with his family, God shut the door. And it began to rain such that no living thing, plant, animals, humans etc didn't survive.
Lesson learnt:-
Total obedience is what God wants.
Noah followed God sheepishly without arguing he followed God's specification, he never added his, he never had it in mind to go against God's description on how the ark will look like.
Some of us would have wanted proofing that we went to architectural school or perhaps we are engineers, or we studied in school and so because of that we know better than God, but none of such came to Noah's mind.
Have you ever imagined if Noah had disobeyed God by using his own wisdom or specification? Do you know what would become of him, his families and the animals.
Like is said earlier he flowed God sheepishly and God bless him.
Secondly do not look down on the person preaching to you, he or she might not be wealthy or well dressed but I think that person has God's mind to speak.
When Noah was preaching to the people of the land they looked down on him and even mocked at him.
But I tell you our ways are not God's way. At the end the pleaded for help and perhaps depending on how now was easy going he would have wanted opening the door for them, but God for saw it and shut the door to the ark by himself.
Repent now tomorrow may be dangerous.
Note:- The moment you obey God totally he will answer you totally.
