“And many Samaritans in that city believed in Him according to the woman who testified that He told her everything she had done. And therefore, when the Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him to stay with them; And he stayed there two days. And an even greater number believed according to His word, and they said to the woman: we no longer believe in your words, because they themselves have heard and learned that He is truly the Savior of the world, Christ ”(John 4: 39- 42).
Wherever faith is found, it is a gift from God. She is a plant that has never arisen spontaneously on the basis of sinful human nature.
Whether it is a small or large faith, it is of equally divine origin. And wherever he is: in the son of godly parents, who was raised with the greatest care, or in a man whose entire previous life was spent in the most terrible sin, he is equally the fruit of the Spirit and the action of the grace of God.
This fact is very encouraging: if the power of God is needed to instill faith in a heart that seems more caring, then nothing else is needed to establish and maintain faith in a soul that does not seem ready to accept it.

Sincere faith, due to fear, can be hidden for a short time. Perhaps the love of carnal comforts also causes some to hide their faith in Christ. But making one's presence visible and tangible is inherent in faith.
Nicodemus and José de Arimatea managed to hide their faith largely for about three years. Occasionally, the candle burned a hole in the container, because they couldn't completely hide the fire that was burning in them. But when Jesus died, many hearts opened their minds and these two men clearly stood out as His open confessors.
Our Lord has always placed alongside the saving faith the duty to confess this faith. Here are his own words: "He who believes and is baptized will be saved". And Paul, guided by the Holy Spirit, wrote: “If you confess Jesus as Lord with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved; because they believe in justice with their hearts and confess with their lips for salvation"
Christ does not like faith tied to the tongue, he does not want it to be silly. He wants her to always glorify her Lord, on whom she depends.
How does faith generally reach people's hearts?

According to the clear teachings of the Holy Scriptures, "faith is from the ear, and hearing is from the word of God" (Rom. 10:17). But faith is not always born in the heart of a person by the same means. She is always the fruit of the Spirit of God, but she comes in different ways.
May your faith and my faith, dear friends, expand! We believe for others! Let's hope for the others! May the desire to see how God's salvation extends to the ends of the earth fill our hearts. Motivated by this faith, we will go to look for the dead sheep to take them to the great Shepherd, who will surround them with security and tender care. We will be so close to Christ to catch his spirit, so that our faith grows and our love for all the saints multiplies.
