A LITTLE NOTE ON ATTITUDE
A preacher said– "You can not have an attitude,beyond your belief;
so your attitude comes from your belief system"
Now, what do you believe? Do you truly believe it?
So how come you all kept quiet when He said, "who do you say that I am"? Only Peter could talk, even so it was Peter speaking not from his brain,but from his heart(his spirit received info from God's Spirit).
The other disciples couldn't speak because their belief(or conviction) was not that deep. Yet they were Pastors,Ushers,protocol officers,ministers,etc. They saw Jesus more than anybody, they heard him more than anybody, oh they had the best 'Bibles' and the most beautiful hymn books, YET THEY DIDN'T KNOW JESUS DEEP ENOUGH. No wonder, their mouths couldn't find utterance when Jesus asked them that question. Meaning they couldn’t speak(or act) when it mattered most! Kai!
But before then they were all bubbly and full of expressions as they told Jesus the various names people call Him. Come and see gist, their mouths moving with ease.
Maybe you too, your own Christian life has been reduced to mere story telling, you just like fun and play, hearing from others, imitating others.... you don't have time to wait on the Lord and hear Him for yourself and allow Him control your appetites.
Where is your own voice please? You want to speak like this Pastor, or behave like that minister or do like that Professional, but what is it God wants from you? Do you know?
You ought to be writing songs 🎵 the Spirit has prepared for you to bless your generation, but you are too distracted to spend quality time daily to enjoy His presence, so you live like a photocopy and not the original you. You just do what others do, not what was written of you in the volume of the books.
What do you believe? Your attitude reveals it clearly. First time a very young David saw a Goliath he quickly busied himself inquiring of people what gift will be given to the person who kills Goliath.
Who does that? What an attitude! A boy who is not old enough to be a soldier has the guts to speak where proper soldiers are assembled?!
THERE WAS A LIFE IN HIS SPIRIT HE HAD CULTIVATED, BY GOD DAILY AND FOR YEARS, eventhough he was despised by his family, eventhough he was forced to into sheep rearing, whereas his mates were going to school– they would walk past him daily with their school bags.
Awake from slumber my friends, there is a fire waiting to be birthed in you that will change your attitude or your outlook to life. YOU LOST IT IN THE OPEN BECAUSE, YOU FAILED GOD IN THE SECRET PLACE...
