A man of God, in truth, following the path of justice, that is, a faithful servant of the Lord, always strives to succeed in all good deeds and in any virtuous property, day by day he becomes better than he and is affirm in all virtuous perfection, for example, in humble wisdom and meekness, in good will, in patience, perseverance, in love, faith, hope, prudence, courage, kindness.
Hope is confident expectation and thirst for the promised blessings of justice. In the Scriptures, hope is often referred to as hope in eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
The word hope is sometimes misinterpreted. In our everyday speech, this word often carries a touch of uncertainty. For example, we say that we expect a change in the weather or that our friend visits us. However, in the language of the gospel, the word hope means something undeniable, true and true.
The prophets speak of the need for "firm hope" (Alma 34:41) and "living hope" (1 Peter 1: 3).
The prophet Moroni taught: “He who believes in God can trust with confidence in a better world, yes, even in the right hand of God; This hope is earned by faith, strengthens people's souls, gives them confidence and firmness, is always full of good works and leads them to the glorification of God ”(Ether 12: 4).
If we have hope, we trust in God's promises. The more we strive to live the Gospel, the greater our ability to "enrich hope with the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13).
Our hope grows as we pray and seek God's forgiveness. In addition to extending the principle of hope to eternity, it also supports us in its daily trials.
The psalmist said: "Blessed is he to whom the helper of God is Jacob, who has hope in the Lord his God" (Psalm 145: 5).
With hope, we can find joy in life.
There is hope for God with faith in the heart, and it is beautiful, combined with judgment and knowledge, and there is another, different from this hope, consequence of anarchy, and it is false.
A person who does not care at all about perishing, but who gives himself completely to the Lord day and night, does not care about anything mundane, because of his great zeal for the virtues, uses all his time for Divine studies and, therefore, So much, he is not happy to prepare food and clothes. About organizing a house for the body and above all else, such a person trusts the Lord beautifully and reasonably, because the Lord will prepare for him what is necessary. And this is the true and wisest hope.
