There are so many things that they tell us about God when we attend church and obviously we go to church to meet in congregation and study the word of God but we hear so many things like: God told me... there is nothing to do, this is not to do the other, you have to be like that, what you have is not convenient for you, you run to the altar and seal the word, look for such a prophet, make a new pact with an offering that hurts you...there are so many things that they tell you that even they make you feel guilty and undeserving of seeking God.
There are so many things that they tell you about God... but they don't teach you to love God and to transform your heart and mind to spiritually discern through the scriptures what God really wants from you and me; and it is not a criticism of someone in particular but we have to learn what God longs for and wants from us individually because God uses people individually not all of us have the same gifts and talents and we must try to learn to know each other God personally and that is truly what God wants to change in us to earn us his undeserved grace.
Psalm 119:130
The exposure of your words gives us light,
and gives understanding to the simple.
(RVR1960)
The word of God is light and gives understanding to those who search it with simplicity of heart. For this reason, we must scrutinize the scriptures to be located in the perfect will of God and not allow anyone to tell us: "God told me..." Do we also not have the power to speak with God and hear the voice of God? he? We need to hear the voice of God through his word and this becomes a reality through the search and renewal of our minds and hearts.
Misplaced people will always say things that God says that are really products of their imagination or their actions since nobody is perfect but the word of God is perfect and we must seek help through the holy spirit to develop our mind and understand the word of God in all his fullness.
Manipulation does not come from God and is not suitable for teaching the word of God since God must be taught in his essence so that we can learn from him to transform our hearts, which is the first thing that God longs for.
Hebrews 4:12
Indeed, the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. It penetrates to the depths of the soul and spirit, to the marrow of the bones, and judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
(RVR1960)
God changes men, not any other, and it begins with the heart, then the mind, until his word penetrates to the depths of our soul. It is good to congregate but we must reflect on what they are teaching us about God with the Bible in our hands
