From Matthew 15:32-37,Jesus fed the four thousand besides women and children, and he was with seven baskets. Let us now look deeply into the scripture for more revelations.
In verse 32,Jesus had compassion on the multitude and did not want to let them without giving them the physical food. Jesus is not only interested in our spiritual wellbeing, but he is also interested in our physical wellbeing.
What we eat, wear, our relationship, our emotions even our social life.
In verse 33,his disciples told him that, they were in the wilderness and that they could not find way to buy food. In our walk with God, we do not have any right to limit him, we may be living in our wilderness, but he can give us plenty in the midst of it.
In verse 34,Jesus asked them, how many loaves do you have? Sometimes God does not want more from us, but he just need the little we can do, and trust him to do more.
In verse35,he commanded them to sit down on the ground. This is a very important thing to do in our walk with God.
God really want us to sot down on the ground, so as to get what he wants to give us.
We need to sit down, some of us are always standing to get from God, some of us are sitting on a chair, some of us are even laying on the ground.
Jesus did not say we should be lazy, but he said we humble ourselves so that we can get something from his hands.
So he took them and gave thanks, and gave them to the disciples and the disciples to the multitude.
Let us always wait for God to give us something first, before we give it out to the people, we cannot do it on our own.
CONCLUSION
We should depend on God for the supply of our daily needs .
Be humble enough to get something from God.
Do not limit God's grace and supply.
